I've made this comment before; but I MUCH MORE prefer this way of viewing the game. Moving around, zooming in on individual units and situations. It feels far more natural than the static and perma locked camera angle. Please like if you agree
There are merrits to both I'd say. I'd assume this is probably more work, though, it does add a more personal touch. Perhaps there is a way to combine the merrits of both, as I'd think a channel needs to evolve over time anyway.
@@thijsv948I think this one is less work... They need a third man to opperate the cameras in the other format, whilst it's a handheld camera here. The other format, however, allows the players to go in hands free (easier for moving models, checking rules, etc.). But for the viewer it's more... 'eh'. I often look these vids for the models, but the ones with the new format have kinda moved to background noise now. :P
Full turn of admech shooting, all in range, kills 2 marines and plinks 1/4 wounds off 2 light vehicles. Not making me want to bring my 8th admech army off the shelf.
He had no damage dealer in his AdMech list. No kataphrons, no damage. Even in Hunter cohort you need 12 breachers to do secondary killing missions etc…
Ive seen ork armys shoot better than admech. Problem is that admechs "melee" got obliterated this edition so theirs no real fallback after we fail to kill a single unit after two rounds of shooting.
What a fun battle - I can't think of many battles I've seen where one army manages to do more damage to itself than the enemy side does to it (exaggerating, but only a little bit!) It's a massive testament to Skari that he managed to make it so close and entertaining despite repeatedly rolling absolute trash on a list that didn't have much going for it. Really good display of tactics, movement, objective scoring and more importantly overall gamesmanship.
I'm glad Skarri is such a good player (at least, to my pretty untrained eye), after that first turn that was more trash than a flame pile of dog poo, in a pile of other doodoo, in a scrap yard in the middle of a swamp, it's a delight to see he still manages to come up with a plan and remain a threat
Did he take his admech units off in to strat reserves and then place them in the opponents drop zone in the first round? I know the 1st round rule thing is new but was under the impression that the deployment zone was still not allowed in first round
I really like this videa! Superb scenery, my two favourite players of miniwargaming and two of the armies that i own that also perfectly fit with the scenery and the pariah nexus background. Great!!! 😄
Much prefer seeing the models, the other camera angle isnt modern or professional its just worse. You could always get a camera on gimble to reduce shake of handheld. Id rather see the models and table and state of the game than the other way. A good way to modernise would be to ditch the same 4 backing tracks that have been there for years. We dont need bed music that varies wildly in volume vid to vid.
Never take BALLISTARII...use the points to take DISINTEGRATOR. or even FUSILAVE or robots....or basically ANYTHING ELSE!!! Waist of points and RL money.
The iron warriors seem so over loaded. Needing to roll 3 for everything and rerolling everything and having sooo many attacks... kinda lob sided. I mean ofc the rolls where really good too but its not so hard to roll well when you can reroll everything and got sustained lethal attacks on everything always. Anyways always loving to see adeptus mechanicus :)
I cannot undestrand how the game works… Having the first turn is always a win considering the opponent has less units for their first turn… How this can be a thing? Why they don’t allow points you deploy to decide if you start first or 2? Also…first turn AM, all in range, he manage to make like 2 dmg and almost nothing killed, there must be a problem with the match behind this game…how they can enjoy it?

Almost like you get a first person view

I strongly agree, tbh I only watch batreps filmed like that
Agreed.

Admech and imperial fists got *very* shafted in 10th.
Anvil siege force and admech probably have the lowest wins in this edition

@@uilleam.G what if you dont like kataphrons?
@@daroth7127 You are in troubles 😅
Dataslate is coming, I hope some changes about that

Thank you for playing Ad-Mech! you don't see them too much on Bats reps these days.
LOVE THIS CAMERA STYLE SO MUCH MORE, YES!

More 10th with Pariah Nexus get in! Please do more!
is there a showcase of these iron warriors anywhere?
Beautiful terrain. You folks really have the finest set up. Love to see it!
Would love a space wolves game. I'm curious how the OC0 units could become useful with the saga. Also wolves' battleline units seem pretty good.
God, I really like the look of those venom crawlers. Many other cool looking models on thr table, but those are great in particular

love to see the return of the legion lockdown series
29:18. Why you think you don't see that scenario in tournaments?
@SkaredCast, just a reminder about plunging fire for those back rangers on the platform!
Haha, Skari sounded like he was singing "chitty chitty bang bang".
This table...WOW!

They were outside of the deployment zone .
When are we going to get some more kill team narrative campaign
Lord Discordant is not a Vehicle
YES! the old style is back baby!

YESSSSSSSS Painting and MWG Batrep!!!!!!!!!!!!
Someone please tell me where I can get that beautiful board from!!
Custom made by Adam at Greenleaf Terrain! A very talented man.

10th makes me miss 7th lol and 7th makes me miss 5th & 4th edition 😿
I've read enough fan fiction to know how this ends...
Excellent game guys. Skari burn the pants. Also Luka you spent 30 minutes talking through turn one. Play the game please.
Toster to victory!
