Eh, when this style of batrep was the norm you had one or two comments crying about motion sickness. I like both styles personally, but no matter which style they choose someone will complain about it. It's a no win situation for MWG.

Guest Dark Angels player here! Skari and I discussed this off-camera (I had this same concern), and after double-checking the core rules it‘s still pretty ambiguous to me. My intuition says it’d be closer to how it works in the fight phase, but it’s a pretty small interaction (all things considered) so I don’t think it mattered too much
the fact that GW sold 10th edition as less lethal and less re-rolls is kinda funny as Skari basically rerolled all hits and wounds throughout the game. If this is what fewer reolls looks like, I'd hate to see what more re-rolls looks like
Gw should look into W markers on the tanks to a plate with turn dial and magnetism in there options to weapon gear the damage a change like tenth is drastic and limits just a little.

Such a beautifull army. But i jave to talk to my therapist about those green rims. Thats one of those things you will look back at in a couple of years and ask yourself if you made thst descition drunk....😂
@@benbarker7674 fliers go into “reserves” not strategic reserves (although they do arrive using the strategic reserve rules) so they contribute to the 50% total you can have in reserve but not the 25% deepstrike or 25% strategic reserve cap.

Might be time to ditch the bed music tracks to freshen things up. Been the same 5 or so songs for years and I don't thinn they add anything anymore. Especially as some of the recent ones have been way too loud
Hey, I'm curious why that Land Speeder had the benefit of cover behind that Land Raider. Don't Vehicles need a special ability to provide cover for other models? I previously thought that being partially invisible behind a Vehicle would provide cover, but then I came across Data Sheets, that give the Vehicle the ability to provide cover, if a unit not fully visible behind the Vehicle. Example from the Baneblade Datasheet: "Rolling Fortress: Each time a ranged attack is allocated to an ASTRA MILITARUM model from your army, if that model is not fully visible to every model in the attacking unit because of this BANEBLADE model, that model has the Benefit of Cover against that attack." So after seeing that, I infert that by default Vehicles to not provide cover by obstructing vision to units behind them. Maybe someone can clear that up for me, would be appreciated.
that particular land speeder (Ravenwing Darkshroud) has a special aura that gives Stealth and Cover to all friendly Dark Angels units within 6" of it (including itself). The cover it had is due to this ability, not the land raider partially blocking line of sight
certain armies don't care too much about those effects (i.e. World Eaters being melee-focused, Tau battlesuits having abilities and effects that ignore cover and hit modifiers, etc), but for most armies a debuff aura like that is *very* annoying to deal with, hence why Skari prioritized killing it before anything else. I definitely should've done a better job of hiding it 🙃
These types of bat reps - the way you move the camera, is much more enjoyable than the other style you run. The other style feels like a tournament and not a game between friends. Please make Them like this. I stopped watching your bat reps due to the new style.

Yepp, one activation so all the shooting happening in the same time you are 100% correct. That was a mistake.
