Honestly this series shows really good what happens if you push a tuned car to its limit.
Pushed a tuned RB to its limits for 4 years straight. Had to change Oil with filter and thats it.
Build it right, build it once.
Let a German or Japanese get their hands on it, americans can't build engines. Stuff is rushed. Figured this Car will be taking more maintenance than tracktime when its tune was done in a single Day.
Our Tuner needs 3 weeks to get every AFR right at every possible load, rpm, temp and throttleposition.

There are loads of good American builders - and Japanese - and German and there are great tuners in Australia and all over the world. This project seems to have been very rushed and barely tested before he’s out there trying to go flat out.
I don’t care who builds a car, that’s a recipe for problems and frustration.
@@jsternberg i might be wrong of course, but i rarely see an American build that would withstand a 1 hour topspeed round on the German autobahn. Americans mostly to 2-3 0-80mph pulls and call it a day, they aren't limittesting by having the car at WOT for 5 minutes straight (an R34 GTT drives 290 km/h @ 8700rpm)
Petro this is the dumbest thing i have ever read.
Pushed to its limit? Far from it… it still only revs out to 6500rpm (8000rpm is the stock rev limit) not hating, the car is still mild & the driver just getting used to it.

Car is looking great. I know a lot of tracks only allow the use of water bc antifreeze gets slippery. And guys in non freezing areas will use just water bc it’s heavily available (unless it’s drought season in CA) but… I see you are using antifreeze so I guess it’s not an issue on that track. Can you use a substance like water wetter or be-cool from maxima? Or even better Evans fluid? Evans is great. I was having issues with overheating on my dual sport KTM bike and when I switched I didn’t have anymore issue. I know that wasn’t the main issue but maybe the different fluids or additives would help keep your investment temps down. Again, car is looking awesome. Really like the race look of the gtrs.

if its the n1 pump it has a oval hole that leaks often. But just pullout the bolt, and put in rtv. I did the same, it held up for severeal years :)

Yeah that's not the right pump for that block. Just installed a water pump on my 26 and there's a specific part number for the pump that doesn't have that slot, and has the single hole for the bolt.

Charging fault too? Only has 12.0~12.6v when running, seen it on your digital dash, should be 14v

They are only like that for now. Putting a new roll cage in and it will have a cross bar in the rear for the belts
