Thanks!! I have come to realize that 😆 I learned this way back when it came out just playing drop D, but I will be switching to D standard moving forward!
I don't know if you'll read this, but I just want to say your covers are perfect! The playing, the tone... Just one request from me, if that's alright. Please can you play Blood Hands off their first album. Its my favourite song from them
I use the helix for 95% of the sound. I have the signal split and the dry bass signal goes to logic pro where I am using the Tonex plugin for a bass amp profile so I can save DSP for other effects that I use on the guitar sound.
Technically yes it is split in 2. One signal for bass and another for guitar. The helix has a pedal similar to the TC Electronics Mimiq, which takes a mono signal and creates a “fake” double track (left/right signals) for a stereo effect on the fake guitar signal. The bass signal goes through the Obsidian 7000 which is a model of the Darkglass B7K, which gives the bass signal a little bit of distortion.
The tone. I cant 🔥😭 its so perfect
Thanks!
He’s back!
LFGooooo!
Love how you even got the same gretsch that Mike uses and that tone is perfect!
You're on fire this week! Just from experience though, playing in D standard makes this solo sooo much easier since you have that open C!

The tone god himself 🙌🏻 thank you!
@@ErazedMusic Thanks dude! Go forward!

Thank you for the compliment!
Actually that is on my list! Love that song and it was actually the song that introduced me to the band!
what a sick tone !
i'm going to buy this bass ! you use your Helix for the sound ?

Share the signal chain please
do you only split the signal in two (clean bass & fake guit.) or more channels? is the bass signal clean or do you use any effects?
