I do not! I am using real pedals for distortion, Tonex for amp profiles, and the helix is handling the switching for the bass/stereo guitar effect so there isn't much to share as far as helix presets

Technically yes it is split in 2. One signal for bass and another for guitar. The helix has a pedal similar to the TC Electronics Mimiq, which takes a mono signal and creates a “fake” double track (left/right signals) for a stereo effect on the fake guitar signal. The bass signal goes through the Obsidian 7000 which is a model of the Darkglass B7K, which gives the bass signal a little bit of distortion.

The only issue with the Squier I’ve had is neck dive. I’ve replaced the saddle with a himass one from fender and that has greatly improved that problem. Other than that, I’ve had no problems! I’ve not done any modifications from the Gretsch and it’s really easy to play due to the short scale. The squier is medium scale, which only causes problems when you play higher up on the neck.

Thanks! Been a minute, but if I recall, I had a snapshot that I used on the chorus that increased the level of distortion on the pedal and maybe some more drive on the amp model? I know for sure I used the same distortion the whole way through, with only the settings on the pedal and amp changing throughout the song

Thank you!! This was a tough one for sure. I ended up messing around with the Thrifter Fuzz on the Line 6 Helix. Tried with a fuzz factory initially, but couldn’t get the sound I wanted from that so I dug around the helix fuzz pedals

I agree. I try to stay away from the digital distortion/fuzz, but my fuzz factory and big muff weren’t cutting it this time around! Been looking at getting a mastotron in the near future! Appreciate it and always look forward to your videos!
