    I do the same thing with the Photo filter so I can dial in the colour, separate to the luminosity. The "preserve luminosity" is only ON or OFF for any given position.

      I've been using this technique for a little over a year. I actually came up with it on a Live From Lockdown stream.

    I usually end up deleting my LUT layers because I can't get it to look as good as the pro's. So I tried to figure out how to make my own presets without any luck until I found your channel. I didn't try it yet. but It seems I'm in the right place. Thank You

    Thank you for this one! I hadn't thought about doing this before and I am looking forward to finding out for myself what it does to such LUTs as 'Edgy Amber', which as you know is quite dramatic to start with! Interesting to see how this technique can 'tame' such a beast! :)

    I've ben separating adjustments like that though not for LUT.
    Separate layer adjustments for foreground and sky values including gradient masking.

    Great video! Do you know how to preview luts as you scroll your mouse over them? I had this feature a few weeks ago and now its not doing it anymore! Any idea why?

    Colin, no ways, or methods, seem to be working today...even after you say rebooted the server...to avail the LUTs from the Freebies Bundle. :(

    It's not rocket science though, I mean, pretty obvious. I only found this video because I'd googled something else about LUT's It's hardly worth watching the ads for.
