1:02 CMQ in Indiana 1:54 P42 154 and ALC42 300. Anyone know why this train is two combined ones? 8:36 crazy that the eastbound Southwest Chief is so late that it arrived in La Plata when it's still night out! 12:10 that's a lot of Maersk containers! probably the most on one train since the 90s with ATSF and NS even repainted locomotives in Maersk colors 15:14 now there's a Talgo after the Cascades trains have been of Horizon cars for so many grab bags! 15:43 UP 1995 leading 16:04 wow! Amtrak 130 leading solo with a viewliner baggage behind it! 16:24 KCS 4859 leading through Kansas City again! I saw it about a month ago, but it wasn't leading 16:38 14-unit power move with a lot of H2 dash 9s 18:28 seeing Thomas at Paradise is so wholesome. He's even looking backwards too
It would be so awesome if you could install a camera at either Granger WY, or Echo Utah! There you could see the Big Boy, FEF- 844, 6936 and possibly the E units, and much, much more!
Very awesome to see that they got 300 into service so quickly. Seeing how they livery transitions from the Phase V to Phase VI back to back is pretty good, but it's pretty jarring to see such a splash of color as the transition into the Superliner's. That will take some getting used too. Can't wait for 301 to get into service next! I guess if that is done soon, then we should have 2 new heritage units in service within the next month (301 and which ever P42 livery is put into service next).
I know you have a camera in Galesburg IL, but you should install a camera in Franlin Park Illinois. You will catch alot of trains from Metra and the CP going in and out of the yard.
at 15:20 ( 09:28:32 ) i thought the Amtrak " The Cascadian " train ( consist ) retired..gone to train scrap yard several months ago...decided to preserve it or going for remaining time in a year in service???
The ones here are series 8 talgos, the series 6's were the retired ones. You can tell because the coaches have a built in cab car and no fins on the generator/baggage car
While I like the CP 7014 at 11:54, I also like DTTX 74229 right behind, It's one of 12 Trinity-built Lo-Pac II's, the other 1,600 or so were built by Thrall
:/ don't like that charger, love p42's and hope and pray one makes preservation. A spot for one and acs64 at the rrmpa yard after the roundhouse is built.
Oh, When is a Camera going up in North Auburn, WA Yard that splits to the Stampede Pass route east? Great place to catch trains between Chehalis, WA & Seattle? And going east thru a single rail mountain tunnel. It is 1.8644 miles long.
What happened to the Military train at Big Sandy earlier in the week. I have someone really wanting to see that train and it seems to have not made any Grab Bags. The one time ...?
If my train was stuck somewhere for a whole day, best to be where you can casually go off for dining, drinks, go catch a movie or game, see the sights. Curious if Amtrak put passengers up in local hotels or let them continue to sleep the overnight aboard? Although I could also see them putting passengers on buses leaving from the adjacent Greyhound station.
@@slakingfool The passenger that waived on the Barstow cam in the last grab bag? He said that they stayed in hotels while the trains were held up in Albuquerque, until the tracks were reopened early Monday evening.
Actually, sadly it is perfectly normal for a GE unit's turbocharger to fail. It should have been caught by the shop crew at the last service, but, it will be noticed soon, one way or another.
Looking forward to seeing that new Charger in action! Good grab of those two high hoods on the NS.
14:30 - How I wish I could've been in Altoona at their rail park the morning of June 17! A 3-way train meet with a lot of noise! I LOVE IT!!

Thomas has got those crazy eyes and dilated pupils. I think he's been putting that dro in his firebox.
Does his eyes move?
Well, I haven't seen his eyes move since Friday I think.

Welp goodbye P42s btw you should install a camera in commerce Ca it gets active train movements and loads of rare sites
Then go to their website and fill out a form

Wish we couldve had Virtual railfan during the steam era... there arent enough railroads and liveries nowadays

That was me in the grey shirt and the NS hat be blowing that low pitch horn at the curve lol
Was it an air horn? The engineers seemed to like it.
@@barbrn yeah. It's a GG1 horn I built out of PVC pipe. It's the low pitch one. Some little kid was the one blowing the high pitched one.

it was becuase due to a derailment in new mexico
Jake5954, When was it due?
😍wow❤🇮🇳
Yay
Dowt at Strasburg soon 😁
I don’t like that they are moving 1630 a lot. Makes me think that something is about to happen to the remaining SD40HHs.

Amtrak combined 2 Southwest Chief trains in ABQ because they were both running really late following a BNSF derailment
