That was no ordinary ‘67 mustang at La Grange, that was a ‘67 Shelby GT500. Ain’t much telling if it was a real Shelby GT500 or not since people like to fit the Shelby body parts onto a regular mustang.
I will be riding the Amtrak Acela next month! How long should it take for my emailed ticket to be delivered to my Amtrak account or my email? Is it immediate or does it take a few hours to days? I figured this would be a good place to ask since the Railfans here are so diverse and awesome!
A few years ago, I went from NYC to Providence, and I ordered my Acela ticket the night before and it was available by 6 a.m. when I got up. They use the emblem on the phone email as my ticket, though, instead of a paper ticket. I also saved that little emblem as a jpg just in case my phone lost connection. But they already have you on their passenger list, so in any case, all you'll really need is your I.D. to board. Same with my trips from Kingman AZ to Penn station in NYC on the Southwest Chief. Everything is electronic these days.
Not making a lot of progress on the road repairs. Anyone know what they are doing,or are they just making a mess and a whole lot of problems for drivers ?

@@NW-gi1cp For a couple months this spring we'd see UP every few mornings in RNK. BNSF was regular but less frequent. Around 1:00 on 22 June, there were two CP, which were a first for me in several years of watching RNK.
