4:39 the Lee Enfiled does in fact eject casings, but for some reason it ejects them under the magazine. You can see the ejcted bullets by looking down on the ground
I'm fairly certain the Bren reload is incorrect. The magazine is rocked in back-to-front in-game, when it needs to be rocked in front-to-back like an AK.

Another thing to point out that is not mentioned in this video is the MG42. In the first mission of the game in the Soviet part of the campaign, the setting takes place in 1941, but the Germans are using MG42s(most likely prototypes) and not MG34s.
The Bren doesn't need to be charged every reload. It has a bolt hold open for simple mag swaps on empty. Check Bloke on the Range's video on the Bren for reference
What do you mean? The game was a 360 launch title, it did come with native HD and 16:9 support out of the box... Unless you're talking about a high FOV then that's a different story.
What you want from the game from something about 2005. This time this type of graphic was amazing and what's more not every person could back then turned on this game on the medium settings.
The grease gun is an m3a1, more than likely; you had to insert your finger into the bolt to pull it. My father got to handle both variants as a tanker in the 80's (But they didn't let him practice with it because .45 was in War Stockpile) As well, with the Garand, I believe he's supporting the oprod with the flat of his hand; that's what I *think* is being conveyed. It's not always the most necessary, as with some garands (like mine) the bolt doesn't automatically rock forward and so you have to give it a little boost. But then again, once when I was at a reenactment my oprod separated from the bolt (not catastrophically, thank god) so that might just mean mine is kinda fucked lol
A lot of those were likely the developers saving time and man hours that would've been wasted animating things that the graphics and frame rate back then would render barely noticeable at best.
seeing this now after playing waw for the last couple days shows how treyarch built on these animations for the thompson and mp40 so on and made them so much better
Was this video inspired by that post on the Forgotten Weapons subreddit asking why people push the charging handle forward on the BAR IRL? Btw the Lee-Enfield is ejecting casings, if you look closely between the arm and the gun you can see them falling down, but it's probably in a wrong position that's why it seems like nothing is happening.
Hey, hey, people! DeathMedic here. Have you ever wondered what life was before anime games? Would you like to experience it first hand? Well too bad, bucko, because this game is designed for the purpose of Chinese mobile gachas with girls utilising World War 2 weaponry. Welcome, to Call of Duty Mobi-, I mean Call of Duty 2.

With the Sten while holding the magazine would cause jamming and other problems many British Empire soldiers would hold it like that because it was easier to grip and use.
Eyy nice. Try the weapons from the back2fronts mod next if you have time. They added new weapons plus redid most of the models. Also a good gameplay rebalance mod
@@munanchoinc ah I see. Have u ever played the spanish civil war mod campaign too? Initially i was impressed but on second playthrough i realized how clunky it is and all the new weapons kinda suck
The lee Enfield in-game rotates the striker And the k98 turns it's safety when cycling the bolt in-game as well, both of these objects should not turn togheter with the handle, if i recall correctly
at close range its completely viable to aim over the rear sight. also i think its weird to complain about rear sight being too big on only some of the guns even though all of them are too big and also its been standard for fps games pretty much always.
This is a game that needs to be remade with better graphics and animations I love going back and replaying this game as the level design holds up especially the Russian campaign
4:22 Incorrect use of SVT40 iron sights. Rear ironsight goes like this ===_=== not ==___== and front ironsight would be taken up half by the rear ironsight
For 1. The Sten was made from extremely cheap material and prone to jamming. Any misalignment of the magazine could cause jamming. It's general rule of thumb that a person shouldn't hold a gun with it's magazine as it could lead cause problems with feeding of the rounds. That's why in Games like Call of Duty WAW. The player holds the MP40 on the magwell instead of the mag.
NOTE: the grease gun could be an m3a1, which had no charging handle
Don't you have to literally stick your thumb in to pull the bolt back?
@@AWholeLegionary yep
correct, however the M3A1 wasn't fielded until after WW2, it was first seen in Korea IIRC

This dudes literally picking apart a game that came out in the 2000’s when graphics like this were considered to be revolutionary

All in fun.

the bren also ejects rounds from the bottom of the gun, not from the side like in the game

That intro is the best way to start a video.
2:29 In defense of the game, in the original 4:3 screen ration you would not have seen this.

The cod pistol reloads until WaW were pretty decent to be honest.

@Trad Lads Productions you' re right ( sorry for my english im italian)
1:43 I am pretty sure the Trenchgun ejects shotgun shells like it should, they can be hard to see but look at tje ground after firing a shot
That's true 👍 when I was younger I was really impressed that the casings could be found on the ground for a few seconds after firing
The trench gun never gets old
The animations are soooo sexy

Okay I literally thought about a video like this this morning and here we are

3:02 could I have a link to that field manual, or at least where this reloading method is mentioned?
Kinda of a nitpick but the tokarev pistol (same with ppsh and pps) does not eject 7.62x25 casings
The bren has a latency rear sight that is completely blocked off by the magazine......
the problem is not the guns, its the fucking anime figures
The lee Enfield in-game rotates the striker

I just realized World at War reuses some of the reload animations, just more polished
And the worst is, they holding the pistol two handed instead of 1 handed.
Dude this is my favorite cod campaign:)
Dude this game was made in 2005 leave it alone its a piece of cod history
Bren bolt holds back when empty
Something that he fails to mention with the Tokarev is that this is an imported Polish model from the 1950s.
You should do Cod 3 next
whats that video in the intro?
Where do I find that intro video
Anyone know we’re I can get the video from the beginning

pinhole sights are incredibly hard to add to a game and not worth the effort its just better to make a larger ring
I still play this game...
The Bren ejects from the bottom if i im right
