  • Hello hello, Are you a fan of Fujifilm camera?
I've owned the Fujifilm XT30 II since October 2023. Hopefully, those considering the camera will find my 9-month impressions helpful. After capturing thousands of frames and producing videos with this camera, I believe I have gained a thorough understanding of its pros and cons. So I will share this video to help you make the right decision that fits your needs and budget.

Hello hello, thanks for stopping by the comment section, you'll find the formula I use for my pictures and videos below. I did not have a name for it yet, so let's call it
    " Nostalgia Dream "
    Stimulation : Classic Negative
    Dynamic Range: DR100%
    Highlight: -2
    Shadow: +0.5
    Color: +4
    Noise Reduction: +1
    Sharpening: +2
    Clarity: +2
    Grain Effect: Off
    Color Chrome Effect: Strong
    Color Chrome Effect Blue: Off
White Balance: WB Auto White Priority , Red: +3 Red & Blue :-4
ISO: Auto, up to ISO 6400
Exposure Compensation: -0.3 to +1.6 (typically)
Sometimes I do a little bit adjustment of tint and warm from +1 to +4 points in editing software like LR or Capcut to achieve the color that I want. I hope this help.

i have the 18-55 fujion with stabilization in lens (OIS) and smooth enough... xt30 is more for photographs...

YesI agree with you. I also purchased the Fujinon 18-55mm lens to pair with the XS-20. It is more versatile than the prime 35mm f1.4, although the f2.8 may not perform better in low-light circumstances. So whenever I go out, I make sure to bring both.😅

Beautiful sample photos! ♥ Did you do any other adjustments (film recipe) to the photos from 03:46 onwards, or were they purely Classic Negative? If yes, can you share your recipe? They are stunning and film-like. Thank you!!
I'm debating between Fuji and a Sony A7C but the film sims are really pulling me! I do love editing from time to time but when traveling, it's often quite daunting to go through hundreds (even thousands) of photos to edit. The idea of spending less time in front of the computer for post-processing is very appealing, and the shots I see from Fujifilm users straight-out-of-camera are so beautiful to me.

Hi there, thank you for your kind words, it really makes my day 🥰. I didn't have any editing done to these photographs; they were right out of the camera. That is what I love about Fujifilm. I frequently use the Fuji Weekly recipes, and I sometimes tweak the camera's White Balance map to create the ideal colour stimulation.
My editing goal right now is to match every iPhone shots I took to this Fujifilm stimulation, hehe. I've also been a Sony user in the past (with ZV-E1, ZV-E10, and FX30), and to be honest, I still value Sony's autofocus, but Fujifilm's film stimulation creates an aesthetic sense of nostalgia. So I completely converted and became a Fujifilm lover...
If you feel the same way, go for it; I am confident you will not be disappointed.
I will share my recipe in the pins comments so that you and anybody who loves it may give it a try. ^^

Fujifilm XS20 is better in every possible way, the XT30ii is much worse

X-S20 is a terrible choice. Yes, it's a better camera on paper than the X-T30 II, but you're not buying the X-T30 II for the raw specs. The X-T30 II is smaller, lighter, and cheaper. *That's* why you pick that camera. If you're willing to add another 150g, have a slightly larger body, and pay more for your camera, you wouldn't pick an X-S20; there are many other options in the Fuji system that will probably better fit your needs.
X-S20 is a fine camera, and if I got one for free I would use it, but if you're looking to buy a new camera I just don't see how it's ever going to be the right choice with everything else Fuji has to offer.

@@jeremybuckets Wrong, i have both cameras, the XS20 is exactly the same size as the XT30ii but it has a bigger grip, wich when you put lens on the camera they become the same
with how unconfortable the XT30 is and no ibis no one is buying that, the videos are unusable because its too shaky
and for the price you are comparing an old to a new camera with the best specs in the market
