just subscribed after seeing this video in my recommendation. i am 21 years old and just picked up a new job. i was considering getting an F90 M5 comp. my current daily is paid off (parents helped me out on that one ngl) but i see my route that was similar to yours. you said something that lit the light bulb, once i feel this job i have is intact then i would pull the trigger. however, me saving up could mean i possibly could get an CS as that is my favorite M5 model. the thing with being great is taking sacrifices. and even though your older than me, i appreciate you sharing these gems to me as i am an african-american individual.

I just paid off my daily and I was planning to go and get a Mustang GT which is my dream car. but I walked out of one of the deals because the interest rate was way too high and I got cold feet. The car was 31k+ tax which was out of my price range with what i make today i would be able to afford it but i started to think about waiting for a better deal and saving up more so that I could put down more and have it pretty much paid off or pay it off.
Was thinking about trading in my 2018 chevy cruze and go to a CLA 35 AMG 2020. Nevermind Now I’ll stay in my cruze till I’ve got enough to pay the Mercedes full.
You are correct brother! I was 50 before I could buy my 1st corvette. I had basic cars till I could afford my car in cash. Credit cards & expensive car notes are not your friends.😂🤣😂
Got a better story. Bought a slightly used 2019 Mustang GT convertible in 2019. Saved a ton of cash. Paid it off in one year. Only drive it 2000 miles a year or so.
You never lied I bought a brand new dodge charger 2017 for 29000 I got 5.300 to go wife passed to that's why it's taking so long never again enless I'm making 300 thousand a year.
im thinking about getting a 2006 corvette thats 19500 but i do already have a paid off car im wondering if i should get it ive been having my current car for 7 years
If you have the money saved up to pay for the corvette in full and that's the car you really want. get it. If you don't have the money to pay for it in full keep driving your current car and keep saving up money.
For the young folks out there what this man is basically describing is DISCIPLINE ,don't fck yourself! I know the charger/challenger or bmw/Benz look good to all your little friends and the girls but that car payment and interest rate gonna bite you sooner than later! And while you stuck with your 7yr. Car loan on a car that was already 5yrs. old, real ballers gonna be driving newer models and still making you look bad! Have Discipline, Just Wait!
While I think it was great you paid cash for both your cars it’s still a bad idea if nothing went towards your retirement fund during the time you were saving up.
@@plee989 appreciate the comment my friend. This video was more about how to stay out of car payments. I will do a video about saving for retirement. That’s very important. I have a substantial amount of my money going towards retirement. Thanks 🙏🏾 for your input.
Great question. Focus on what you really love doing. Something that you passionate about. Find somebody that’s doing it and making good income and learn from them. You are young enough that you have some time. The next 7 years you need to lock in and develop your skills. Put in your 10,000 hours and by the time you are 28 years old you will be way ahead of people in your age group.
