I'll take this chance to say this. Cry, don't feel bad about getting lost. The devs kinda screwed up but not really yet they did. The game is classic 2D, meaning movement is done in X and Y axis. However, the Map is done in a top-down perspective, meaning movement there is not X and Y, but X and Z. So your brain kinda chokes when trying to process that, because you're telling yourself walking to the side is the same thing as walking to the depth. The map and the game are not at fault, it's really the mixture of both. It's a small design challenge, because if they had done the map in 2D, it wouldn't feel like a floor, but rather a building. It's hard to get that done right, I don't even know how to approach this scenario =/

An XY map is not indecipherable, it only is in this case because the game takes place in a 3D building. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night featured a XY map, because all the player ever did was move in XY. Considering the game relied heavily on exploration, the map had to function properly. And I didn't say it was necessarily the devs fault, because this is a tricky question with a tricky solution. If you wanna add depth to your environment (as in, actual depth, not the metaphorical one) in a 2D game that is primarily about exploration, your map needs to fit the style of the game. Their map IS functional, but not in this scenario. In any other game, this map would be perfect, but here it causes confusion. There're a lot of tiny problems with it that cause a huge mess. Again, just saying the devs didn't necessarily make a wrong choice, they just didn't make the best one.

May Mandarina It's... not something accessible on the average browser. Hard Candy is part of the dark internet. I'd explain what it is exactly but I'm rather glad to see it's not known. I'm really not trying to sound mysterious or some shit, finding what it meant made me zone out for days on end, when at family tables, hanging out with friends, reading... I'd just space out and feel like crying.
This game is like a combination of Cry's old "horror" playthroughs. Also whenever Claire calls Anubis "Ani" is sounds like "Ammy..." I miss Okami already.
Cry can you do this thing where you just talk for an hour, no other sounds or maybe the sound of rain or slow jazz playing in the background because your voice is just heaven.

Next, this is the first solo LP of Cry's I've watched so far. I've been keeping up with he and Jesse Cox's Resi 6 LP and have been loving it. Why not give the guy a shot on his own? Who adds production value to an LP? A professional, that's who. I've checked out the Saturday night live streams as well, and they're always a blast. Anyway, definitely going to keep watching. I watched this episode and I don't think it's scary. I can't watch everything with creepy stuff in it either, just because I get a heart attack every time something bad pops up. I can watch it, but I'm still a wimp sometimes. The game is alright I guess, not too scary. You definitely got my okay to watch it. (:
It's not really that scary to be honest... The colour scheme just sets the mood to make you feel uncomfortable like. Like any other horror games, it has it's pop-ups. But besides that, Claire is a pretty good series. :)

I started watching this tonight because I need a series to watch that I haven't seen yet and I was wondering why I hadn't watched this one already (since I love watching Cry play eerie games). A few minutes in I remembered that I started watching this a while ago but decided I might want to play it for myself. So I'm only watching this first one so I can play it with no spoilers once I'm able to get it. But it's so hard not to watch the whole thing because I love Cry's videos.
The sounds everything makes kept making me jump. The noises were just so sudden. Also damn the bathrooms. I'm never gonna be able to use a public restroom again after this and Corpse Party... ;-;
I'm ashamed to say that I watched a playthrough of Claire already through another let's player that does really well with these horror indie games. Claire is a good game, but it's not the best. A lot could be better about it, but it's still a pretty cool game and I hope you enjoy it to its finale, Cry. I'll definitely enjoy watching it! I really hope you start doing more horror indies. Those tend to be my favorites from you and there are a lot of really high quality and great games under the genre. I'd love to see you play something like Dreaming Mary, personally. Some cutesy with subtle horror games. You have the choice to play what you want though and I respect that a ton

So I went to my local Gamestop to put down my final payment for my Destiny pre-order. Out of the corner of my eye I saw on the shelves in the back, a bunch of Jake and Sherry stickers. I giggled uncontrollably and went home feeling very satisfied. Thanks Cry, without this series I would have never gotten such joy off of a few stickers of "The Son of Wesker" and "Boob Support."

So I went to my local Gamestop to put down my final payment for my Destiny pre-order. Out of the corner of my eye I saw on the shelves in the back, a bunch of Jake and Sherry stickers. I giggled uncontrollably and went home feeling very satisfied. Thanks Cry, without this series I would have never gotten such joy off of a few stickers of "The Son of Wesker" and "Boob Support."
