I actually prefer when Cry plays these kinds of games. They're a lot more intimate and listening to Cry is a lot of fun. The Witch's House, Mad Father, The Crooked Man, Desert Nightmare and Ib are some of my absolute favorite playthroughs on Cry's channels. Keep playing this, Cry, this is awesome!
Minty Shake Yeah if you ever want to see a playthrough of the Sandman I would check out Davosity's playthrough of it. At the end you see a short trailer for the Boogey man.

Schneeberger Matthias I like to call it a "non-horror horror" game. It's not exactly SCARY, but it has disturbing elements, and it's mostly centered around it's plot instead of the scare factor.
I don't think I have ever been THIS excited for anyone to play a game, let alone Cry. I think this game is just so amazing, and I love the characters so much. It's sad that it doesn't have that much of a fanbase, and so I am unbelievably happy that Cry is playing it! /cries tears of joy

The beginning of the game gave me a Mad Father vibe. Mainly from the whole girl's-monologue-followed-by-her-alone-and-the-clock-stopping-and-her-waking-up-from-a-dream-that-is-important-to-the-story intro. But the character design in much different so far and so is the plot.
I love finding out small facts about Cry in his videos. He will will drop little things about him and I'll just be like... "Oh his birthday is June 11th. That's cool." "Oh he has a sister." "Oh he wears glasses. So do I." I'm not being creepy I just like it. Cry is one of my favorite youtubers and I love him dearly which is why I like hearing facts from him and not mean people on the internet.
I know this is strange of me to say, but I am literally almost in tears because of how excited I am that Cry is playing this game. It's my most favorite RPG game of all time, and a while back, I made the wikia for Kirisame ga Furu Mori, so I'm just absolutely ecstatic that this is actually happening. The first thing that came to my mind was Umineko, since some characters use Red Words to state facts since it's used for True statements. Though this has been abused with people only giving vague truths instead of whole truths.

The wonderful thing about Cry is that he can take any game and make it super enjoyable, with Okami, Dreamfall, Remember Me, Dishonored and much more. He make it good with his humor, which is the best. I look forward to this playthrough.

Sounds like a good idea to me. If you want to freshen up or go to the bathroom, but someone is taking a shower/bath you don't have to disturb them or shout at them to hurry up if its in a separate room.
I love it when Cry plays these types of games! After a long day I'm happy to come home and see a new play through because it's like he's telling us a story. It's relaxing and soothing, away from all the other hectic game plays of other games..So thank you Cry!

The little 2D character portraits are cute! I'll admit it may take awhile to get used to the sprites. Skinnier and longer than I expected (more so than Ib) but while they are still endearing the actual walking animation is stiff. And that's kind of amusing though that may make some possible future scenes creepier I wonder?
I love that he always reads out loud, it's makes the experience so much more interesting and it's more fun when you can keep up with games that have lots of text.
I need to ask a question, like I'd asked with Claire: Is this a horror? Seems like it, judging from the style of the game. I'm deathly afraid of horror games. If it's only a little bit creepy, I can stand it. But if it has jumpscares, I just... I can't. Am I okay to watch this playthrough? I hope you realize thats what a TRUE horror game is. All these games with their "jumpscares" are just crap that surprises you, it doesnt actually scare you.
When it's a bunch of jumps cares and not enough atmosphere it's more of a thriller than horror like for instance I see movies and games where there is constantly people jumping out thrill your senses where as games like silent hill (my fav) appeal to nightmares along with thrilling jumps cares but could be scary without them

This looks EXTREMELY interesting and I love the poetic feel to it (despite the broken English...you can get the point with it. When Japanese gets poetic, they often word things in a way that's just hard to translate to English while still keeping all the poetic-ness of it. So it can sound awkward in English but it makes sense in Japanese lol) I can't wait to see more of it Cry!! By the way, THAAAANK YOU for being able to pronounce Japanese words. xD I wouldn't dislike it too much if you couldn't, but it's a very, very nice plus lol

In Japan, its uber common to have toilets and bathtubs/showers in different rooms.
Its actually weird if its not.
And since the sink is usually built into the toilet itself to save water anyway, there's no reason not to have them split.

a lot of houses in europe as well... when i stayed with a french family for a week during high school the toilet was upstairs and la salle des bains with the bathtub and sink was downstairs... i kept trying to go downstairs to wash my hands and they thought i was weird

Sounds like a good idea to me. If you want to freshen up or go to the bathroom, but someone is taking a shower/bath you don't have to disturb them or shout at them to hurry up if its in a separate room.
I love it when Cry plays these types of games! After a long day I'm happy to come home and see a new play through because it's like he's telling us a story. It's relaxing and soothing, away from all the other hectic game plays of other games..So thank you Cry!
Don't understand why people don't like when he plays these types of games. The way I see it, heavily text-based = Cry voice acting for us. Which is never a bad thing. Ever. It's like the opposite of a bad thing. It's a pretty good thing. The best.

Alchemies I'm not saying i disliked it, but it shows criticism and tells the creators of the videos they did something wrong, and should change it. If it's like 1000 likes and 20 dislikes, don't change it, if it's around 500 likes and 400 dislikes, you need to do some edits.

Most of the houses here in japan have a split toilet and bathroom, because as Cry just said, you don't wanna poop where you take a shower.

I'll be honest, I'm not one for RPG games, but this one actually seems pretty good. And I feel even better knowing that Cry is playing games that he enjoys. So overall, I can't wait to see more! Have fun playing the game Cry!
The little 2D character portraits are cute! I'll admit it may take awhile to get used to the sprites. Skinnier and longer than I expected (more so than Ib) but while they are still endearing the actual walking animation is stiff. And that's kind of amusing though that may make some possible future scenes creepier I wonder?
I love that he always reads out loud, it's makes the experience so much more interesting and it's more fun when you can keep up with games that have lots of text.
I need to ask a question, like I'd asked with Claire: Is this a horror? Seems like it, judging from the style of the game. I'm deathly afraid of horror games. If it's only a little bit creepy, I can stand it. But if it has jumpscares, I just... I can't. Am I okay to watch this playthrough? If I can't, then, well, I genuinely hope you guys enjoy it in my place. Thanks.
It has more of a horror aura to it. Like, the game isn't visually scary, but it is in a mental way. I think you should be fine.

I hope you realize thats what a TRUE horror game is. All these games with their "jumpscares" are just crap that surprises you, it doesnt actually scare you.
When it's a bunch of jumps cares and not enough atmosphere it's more of a thriller than horror like for instance I see movies and games where there is constantly people jumping out thrill your senses where as games like silent hill (my fav) appeal to nightmares along with thrilling jumps cares but could be scary without them

This looks EXTREMELY interesting and I love the poetic feel to it (despite the broken English...you can get the point with it. When Japanese gets poetic, they often word things in a way that's just hard to translate to English while still keeping all the poetic-ness of it. So it can sound awkward in English but it makes sense in Japanese lol)
