As a classic car collector myself (we have 9) I want to say something. He definitely had style. He customized them before that "was a thing". Interiors, paint jobs, etc. AND he loved Caddys and Lincolns with a passion. Long, big elegant V8 tanks. Even when in the late 60s EVERYONE and your neighbor were going crazy for the muscle cars...GTOs, Chevelles, Novas. Mad respect, Elvis for keeping it CLASSY!!

Elvis used to sneak out of Graceland in the wee hours in a early 50s Chevy 3600 panel wagon to go get some scenery and not be detected so Ive heard. This is just a small compliment of all his rides but just a portion compared to all the automobiles he bought friends, coworkers and family. He was a very generous man.
I had a nice talk with the museum curator one day during my visit, and these are only a very small portion of what Presley owned. I think I remember him telling me, they are all in running condition. He has many more in storage.

Knowing Elvis he probably gave away or bought other people cars than he actually owned himself. Man was generous to a fault, in my books, its more rewarding to give than receive! Think Elvis knew this well!

Back around 1980, I handled a claim on that Mercedes SL shown at 0:23. It had been stolen and partially stripped. It got repaired. (Priscilla's car...... in Los Angeles)
And I had only thought he bought Cadillac's, when it comes to Cadillac & Lincoln he had good taste. I'm not a fan of exotic cars. Thank you for sharing!

Fact: He would actually sprinkle grape KoolAid powder in the carpet so, when you got in it smelled of grapes. 💜 He was a genius.
