Look delicious! I would say on the spring rolls what I found is less time in the water. Pull them out when they are still kinda hard but just slightly softened. And then lay them out. They’ll continue to soften on whatever surface you are using and are easier to work with. Hope this helps.
thank you so much! I knew I was doing something wrong 😂 I was definitely leaving it in the water too long since it was still firm. Now I can remake them again! Thanks!!
OMG the cranberry poppi drink was sooo good! I wish I would have stocked up. Hopefully it will come out next season too! I still have 4 left that I’m hoarding! Haha! I always forget about steel cut oats. Definitely making some this week!
Right?! The best flavor so far, it needs to be a permanent flavor 🥹 lucky!! Now I know for next time to stock up on them 😂 probably cause they take a bit more effort to cook and plan that other oats but their so good!
The spring roll wrapper I only dunk for like 2 seconds in warm water. I place it down while it’s still hard and while I put the stuffing in it gets soft and pliable 😊 hope that helps!
I use a mix of liquid smoke, maple syrup and liquid aminos for my Tempe and it gives a “bacon” flavor. With the rice paper use warm water and only dip once! It will continue to soften when you take it out. That edamame spread is interesting, I might have to check it out. I also feel the same way about black salt, I HATE eggs and the smell makes me sick so no thanks 😂
I need to try that! I see tempeh bacon at the store but it's pricey so this definitely would taste great on a sandwich or breakfast burrito, thanks!! It's definitely good and I loved that it was more filling than an avocado toast. Right?? It's not just me. Victor was using it for a while and when some would end up on the counter it'd smell so bad 😂
What a lot of good prep done, Milly. Your tofu scramble is a good idea for other than breakfast by changing up the usual seasonings. I tried tempeh once and didn't enjoy it much. I found it very dry. I almost picked some up again but it wasn't on the menu so thought I'd wait. You can take that buggy bag of rice back to the store for a refund if you still have the receipt. I made my hummus for years without tahini but I add half a cup of green olives with pimento. But that would be too salty for your daughter. I found a brand of tahini that I like so I do add 2 tablespoons to my hummus now. Are you moving to your new apartment soon? Cold day today in central Florida! Cyndi in Melbourne
Hi Cyndi, thank you so much! Yes, it's definitely so convenient. I love also adding it to bowls with rice. That's how I felt about it the first time I tried it but you get used to it and like I mentioned steaming it up prior really helps with that. & that's good to know. I wonder if I had eaten some of it prior without noticing lol & that's such a great idea, I love olive spread so I bet that would be delicious! Thanks for the idea! Yup, we move in short of two weeks so we've been packing everything up :) & yup you're right!! it's been cold and it totally took me by surprise. I had to take my jacket out of storage lol
This is the first video from you that I see in months. I have my notification ring on. I clicked on your channel's video's to see if you had a break. But you have posted past weeks. So something went wrong with TH-cam's algorim (again). Love to see you again❤
Your comment made my day ☺️ Thank you so much, I've noticed it does that sometimes too. && yes, sometimes trying new things doesn't come out as expected lol thankfully ya'll are here to help me out too! apparently I was soaking them too long 😅

Meal prep was wonderful! I will try to make some spring rolls soon too!
Thank you!! They were honestly even better the day after. So yummy but it gave me a headache to roll them 😂😂😂

Thank you!! Next time I will for sure have perfect spring rolls 🙌🏾
Yum everything looks delicious Milly. The Cherry Limeade Poppi with a splash of grenadine tastes like a Shirley Temple 😊
I’ve never heard of grenadine before but Victor sure loves Shirley temples. I’m going to tell him about it 😄

Your tofu scramble looks delicious! Thanks for the video, Milly!
Thank you 🥰 Yes, it's a weekly staple in our home!
I love spring rolls. I like the Trader Joe’s sriracha flavored tofu in my spring rolls. It tastes wonderful. Tfs
I've seen it but I don't remember trying it. I'm going to pick some up today and use up the last bit of spring roll wrappers. Great idea!

Good morning ❤
Good morning 🫶
Amazon hat the cranberry poppi . I ordered it for my daughter. I got it January 14 a case of 12.
I got so excited and I just checked and it was so expensive 😭 probably since their not available in store anymore. Now I know for next time 😅
