@@heikesiegl2640I’m only on the first recipe and she’s chopped, grated and used a pot and pan to cook the filling and rice. That’s quite a bit of cooking in my opinion.
Honestly, this is one of the most realistic meal videos for me. I love all these meals and I make them (in some variation) all the time because they're easy and minimal cooking, but still good!
I love how these are "lazy day" meals for you but for me would be "putting in effort" meals 😂 I do appreciate the simplicity, cost consciousness, and straightforward instructions. Thanks for these great ideas! xo
The egg roll in a bowl is honestly one of my fave meals at this point - on its own without rice when I want something light. Hella lazy version for me is: - bag of coleslaw mix - a burger thawed and mashed and/or whatever tvp/crumble I have on hand - soy sauce or liquid aminos - ginger garlic paste (my store sells a jar with both in one. Miracles do happen) - and a load of sriracha
I'm the opposite! I hate chopping veggies but I love mixing all the ingredients in a pot to see everything come together and the smells of the flavors lol. To chop veggies, I usually just throw them in a food processor and make like... veg slop. It sounds gross but I loooove it.
Because I am soooooo cheap, I seldom eat vegan hamburger. I use 1/2 bulgur and 1/2 TVP, soak in broth for 15 min. Meanwhile sauté an onion til it starts browning, add the bulgar/TVP mix and sauté until the liquid is absorbed. Do not cook till completely dry or the bulgar will harden. Use in any dish asking for 'vegan hamburger crumbles'. It's yummy and filling.
I don't like to cook but after binging on your videos I tried the egg roll from this video and the butternut squash and carrot soup from another of your video. Not only I enjoyed cooking but both were very good 🙌🙌🙌
Hey there! Loving your video on easy peasy healthy meals, especially the vegan goodness! 😄 Those lazy days hit us all, but your budget-friendly ideas got me inspired to whip up something tasty without the hassle. Keep those plant-based gems coming! 🌱🍴
If now we eat aqua faba, why do we rinse the chickpeas? Prior to aqua faba (the liquid that chickpeas are canned in) was rinsed because of the sodium content of the liquid. We were told to 'dump it' and then rinse the beans well. But if the sodium is still a concern, then why is aqua faba promoted as something we should now consume? Thanks for any insight to help me work through this, lol. 😂
Thank you so much for this video. The egg roll in a bowl recipe is amazing; super easy, uses cheap vegetables, super healthy. It is on permanent rotation in my home, this week we actually ate it three days. I make it with crumbled tofu (made into ground/mince) which is much more affordable where I live. Have added an extra vegetable if I need to use it up (asparagus, very small broccoli florets, red pepper strips). Have sometimes used a bit of a Thai or Chinese or Korean sauce (tom yum, black pepper sauce, gochuchang) as well. We eat it alone, as a big bowl of veggies, or sometimes with udon or spaghetti.
Awesome, live watching vegan cooking.. Im nkt vegan but I never really liked meat much, and am trying to change my diet to more vegan/vegetarian options, just hatd for me to fund things that'd are tasty too me.. These gave me some great ideas ty.
Maillard effect/caramelization happens when veggies are single layered without touching. Otherwise, food steams, fwiw. The orzo dish looks yum. TQ for the recipe
These recipes all look delicious (as always!) but I don't think they're a very good representation of "don't want to cook" meals as they do still involve a fair bit of prep. As someone who enjoys cooking and finds chopping meditative too, this wouldn't bother me, but usually when people don't want to cook, it means they really have no energy for chopping/stirring and just want to dump everything in a pan and walk away. Maybe a better description in future would be "hands-off" recipes or something similar?
Hi Sarah I have some questions for you like I’m very interested in this ritual symbiotic vitamin but I’m wondering I don’t eat vegan I’ve been thinking about it but I don’t as of now but will these be beneficial to me even if I don’t eat vegan because I’m really interested in purchasing them and seeing how they work. And your comments because I didn’t catch the code I’ll try to play it back again but could you remind me in the comments what your code is for the symbiotic because I’ll use your code to please get back to me thank you
Loved the video! I've made variations of these over the years and I love the way you made a lot of these. Looking forward to next weeks meal prep! What kind of cookware is that?
Meals for days I can't be bothered to cook are actually what I need now so thanks Sarah for sharing this awesome video with yummy 😋 recipes. Love 🥰 the video and love 💕 Sarah & ❤ Eric.
Ciao Sarah and many greetings from Brunswick in Germany.. personally i live as a vegetarian again, since last friday 🙂 and thank you for your videos..i really like them.
These look delicious although I’d say anything with that much chopping isn’t a don’t want to cook meal for me. Nevertheless definitely giving me summer meal inspiration!
When i dont want to cook i roast a pile of veggies, lol. Your recipes are wonderful, cant wait to try them out. Big thankyou, i needed some new ideas. 😊 I don't mind cooking, its the clean up that sucks lol
I made a quinoa salad like that once to take with me when I was working in the field. Unfortunately, the onions or something went bad really quickly and it stunk up my hotel room really bad! Lucky that my roommate was smell blind! Lol 😂
Every vegan and vegetarian should take at least every second day early in the morning on an empty stomach 1 tablespoon (= 15 ml) castor oil in order to prevent an intestinal blockage, for in the case that you will eat a lot of fruits or vegetables your large intestine will be really filled and you will remark this one occasionally unpleasant, this especially during the night. In this case it will be very helpfull to take your dosage castor oil in good time.
@@julietteferrars3097isn’t it redundant to say that? Obviously all of these meals are personal to her. I agree that these are high effort to me, but it goes without saying that she’s sharing a subjective opinion about the simplicity

Love this so much! Do you have a “simple/minimal” ingredient cook book? Nudge nudge.. lol

I was thinking the same thing lol
Really? Its just: Cut it, season it, put it in a pan or bowl.
Same 😂

I'm going to try the egg roll bowl but with lentils as the protein. ❤
A no cook meal for me: open a can of black beans--drain. Open a can of corn--drain. Dump into a big bowl. Add hot sauce and eat. Done

That Egg Roll In A Bowl has me salivating!!! Will definitely be making this for dinner. Amazing recipes as always x
Anyone know what temperature to cook veggies in the over for? And how long??
egg roll in a bowl is DEF happening this week for me! Cheers from Canada.
Awsome ideas, Sarah! Whenever I am not in the mood of standing in front of the stove I let the oven do most of the work like in your last recipe 😅
