The tails stage remixes are way more nostalgic to me than the speed stages for some reason, maybe because it's been way longer since I last heard them...
Either the music just sticks with you because it's so good, or the guitarist plays a lot of similar sounding stuff, which isn't a bad thing since it's really good.
You know, I was just think a couple of days ago, "'On the Edge' would sound great as in 16-bit" and "Why hasn't this been made yet?" and now here it is, better than I had imagined! :D

When you open that one space window and Omochao gets sucked out into space over and over and over again.
That always brought joy to my day when it happens in my playthroughs.
