Exactly. Squad rotation is absolutely key to winning. It's the reason why the original Galacticos underachieved. They had Zidane, Figo, R9, Raul, etc but those guys couldn't play every single game. Top teams are expected to play like 60+ games a season. Between 38 league games, plus domestic cup games and fixtures in Europe. Winning a treble is nearly impossible and the only teams that have done it- especially in the modern era- have extremely deep squads.

I was in Madrid for the final & we won the game against Tottenham (who were the better team but Liverpool were the better team throughout the season). Tottenham also had an amazing comeback in their semi-final, also in this compilation, against Ajax - you should watch full highlights of both games (two games are played each, home & away). There are probably videos on TH-cam of the “fan park” in Madrid for the Champions League Final. That’ll show you the the type of atmosphere it was before the game.
