It sounds fine to me. Tone snobs and purists crack me up. Music is always imperfect. Why should tone or noise or whatever? If people have time and TAKE TIME to slam on effects or amps.... whatever? They are not pros For a musician on a budget this sounds like a good enough blue sky clone.
Perry, that pedal or Pockverb? hard to decide. I needed one to swell, drone, environment etc. Reverb + delay together in one seems to me financially viable, with these two currently.
The fact that you were already playing something ambient not only with just delay but before the pedal was turned on was strange. I’d just assume the audio was recorded separate and added a little off but the knob turning tracks. Was there a different set up for this part?
The only effect used in this video is Ragnarok. I've recorded some dry loops before and played them in this clip while turning the knobs, to show pedal sounds possibility.
hi, did you experience signal drop when your guitar in plugged into that (either engaged or not)? I'm using CP-80 as part of my chain (last pedal on the chain) and the sound is so low compared when it's not part of the chain. i also tried directly plugging my guitar to CP-80 and got the same results.
I have mine just now. And testing it. :) By the way, do you use 9V power supply? Also, do you experience buzzing sound while playing, especially when you're playing the 6th, 5th and 4th strings in soloing? Thanks.
@@PerryFrank That's great to hear. Mine has. I already contacted the store from where I purchased it. There's so many tests needed to do in order for my pedal to be replaced. I already sent the necessary videos I documented while testing it. The buzzing can be heard when my amp volume is on 8 o clock when I use my monitor headphones.
Good day. I used it on my new amp (Boss Katana 100 MkII). Still have the hissing and buzzing and fuzzing sound. I checked the connections, used a dedicated heavy duty extension cord and turned all other gadgets off. The problem still persists. While turning the knobs of my amp'a EQ, I found out that CP-80 can't handle high frequencies (treble) and medium gain.

They're a bit different, both good but I'd probably choose the sonic ambience because it's smaller and you can save space in the pedalboard

Does the reverb & delay tail stop when bypassed? Or does it overhang into the dry sound? Cheers.

Yo just a question. if you de-press the delay would it cut the delay? Or it would continue?
I think this pedal doesn't have a trail feautre so most likely it will cut out the moment you turn off the delay....not sure tho.

@@SandauxBeats Try moving the power unit further from the pedal. Often if you have them close to one another you will get a hum or a buzz.
