“I’m getting a nose of circus peanuts meets Vienna sausages meets wet raccoon hair” I love it!
😂 😂
Erin has some unique responses. 🙂
Love Found North and it seems to keep getting better with each batch.
Found North is knocking the cover off the ball IMO. I pick them up whenever I see them. Drinks about 110 for me. Great stuff!
Love Found North but I passed on this when it came out just because of the price. I've got batch 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 & 9. Killed my batch 6, it was SO GOOD.
This is a Found North release that has eluded me. I've managed to sample it at several tastings. In a side-by-side, Hell Diver beat out Peregrine for me.
I think the trait that Erin may have picked up on is the Chameleon quality to Peregrine I've noticed. Due to the number of different barrels in the blend and finishing this is one bottle that changes as you drink it. This is a pour that evolves over time.
I'll admit to being a Found North fan. I too balked at the $200 price. If offered the opportunity again my response would be "how many do you have?"
I have Found North Batch 9 and it's fantastic. No, it's not cheap but I am willing to pay more in order to get it. I have tasted Batches 3 through 6 and they convinced me of the quality of the blending and the age of the components. Part of me hates to ante up at this level but I know in the end, it is worth it.
Anyone else expecting her to break out into an “All about that Base” solo?
"Cotton candy and body odor" - Glad you like our new County Fair bourbon! BTW, that $200 price tag also gets you 50 ride tickets.
😂😂
3 cheers for another great Canadian whiskey, too bad it’s not available in Canada
Man, some of these Canadian whiskeys or Canadian whiskey blends are amazing!
What do you mean by saturated flavor? You're talking about flavor *intensity* ?
Yep! Flavor intensity would be another way of saying it. However one might choose to convey that there’s a LOT of flavor there would be pretty on the money.
I say that certain whiskies have "dense" flavors. I suspect we're all getting at the same thing, and using our different vocabularies to express what our different palates experience. 🙂
Too much money for me plus I don't like Canadian whisky, kinda a bottom shelf guy 😂 Cheers 👍🥃
$200 a bottle isn't cheap. Thats an electric bill.
You must not live in the south. Try $600 in south AL.
@kennymiller6633 Actually I'm in Oklahoma and from Texas. Sorry to hear it's like that in Alabama. $$$
WHISKEY CHEERS 😎
Too many bottles at $200 plus price point that just. aren’t. worth. it. Not when there is sooo much great stuff in the $50-$100 range. I was a hard pass on Four Gate earlier this morning on SLB drinks. I’ll take a hard pass on this one, too, and buy two bottles of Bardstown Origin Series and two bottles of Green River - and probably have enough change left from two Benjamins to snag a $19.99 Jim Beam Old Tub on the way out the door.
I wish I liked more cheap stuff, but it’s all pretty meh to me. More money doesn’t necessarily mean better, but all my favorites are $70+… and many are $150-200.
What do Bill and Delia Kavanaugh do for a living?
Keep us on our toes with these blind samples! 😂
Do you guys sip whisky everyday? Is it ok if i sip whisky everyday? Im asking for health reasons. I wasnt sure if having a whisky buzz on most days is ok or not. I dont really get drunk, or puke or get hungover ever.
We don't typically sip everyday, but you always hear those stories about someone's grandmother who had a glass of Scotch each night and lived to be 110 years old. 😂 We both hate being drunk. Erin may have something to drink 1-2 nights a week and I may have a glass or two 4-5 nights a week, but a lot of that is contingent upon how much drinking we've been doing for the channel as well. Sometimes we drink nothing for a week or two and other times it's far more frequent due to scheduling. The biggest thing for us is to keep a close eye on consumption and never let it turn into a problem.
@@stuffandwhiskey Well thats why im asking. Im keeping an eye on how much i drink or should drink. I used to not like alcohol but at 42 I recently am really enjoying whisky, but i dont want to make it become a problem. My liver is 99% in tact still. I wasnt actually sure how much was ok or how much is a problem so your answer helps. I might be like you, and wasnt sure if that was alot. I also dont like being drunk. Il get a good buzz sometimes, never hammered. In fact getting hammered ruins a whisky, which helps end drinking for months LOL
Not spending that kind of money on anything
🍻
