Exactly. I waited a year for this to go on sale. Then got stuck on this puzzle. I even tried looking around the place for clues.
I was about to quit that part of the DLC too.

Ikr? This game wants to be Tomb Raider so bad, it hurts, and it's almost pitiful. Aloy, stick to shooting arrows into glowing blue machines.
Not solving puzzles and trying to make the bow and arrow your "thing." It's reboot Lara's thing.

Thanks for this. I got up to this part the other day and just didn't really understand it. Been playing games with puzzles in them since the 90s but this one is poorly designed.

Exactly. Poor game design.
Like the scorcher robot.
You really.... just made an awesome game into a harder game by spamming enemy mobs and making them bullet sponges?!
The expansion is garbage.
The story is fine, but... learn from mgs phantom pain! Stealth and combat can exist at the same time!
Few bushes to hide in? Okay
Tougher robots? Okay
Can't hack them? Eeehhhh....
Now we don't have obvious ledges to climb? You made look like ordinary rock? Okay. I've played tomb Raider.
Robots in a climate that should actually make them weaker, but some are vulnerable to cold? TF?!
The expansion is straight garbage.
Gimme mgs5, hitman 2 or 5 or tenchu any day.
They fucked up this one.

This is the only video that was able to help me do the puzzle! I think it helps that you have your back away from the main node instead of towards it which all the other videos do. Helps let you know where you are better. This was pretty much painless. Took me only 3 hours or so before seeing this video but I finally got it done, so thank you!
