I remember my parient before. He is already inside the gantry when he struggling to get up but because of the body coil on his chest he is helpless and just wait me to rush at him 😂😂😂😂😂

Hey how much does the standsrd shoulder mri coil show of the posterior scapular muscles. Do you know where the cutoff is given an image of the scapula for the infrapsinatus and teres muscles

Siemens has removed the immensely valuable MRI Shulder video where they place positioning wedges under the opposite side of the patient, which lies them on the affect side's shoulder plane. This almost always reduces considerably respiratory motion artifacts (and weirdly, reduces anxiety). Saturation bands cannot suppress respiratory motion when that motion is moving the very part you are scanning. Tilting the patient is immensely helpful.
I noticed in the new video this has been abandonedin the set-up; why?
But when the first three plane localizer images are seen, it looks to me that the patient most probably has been tilted, since the scaular plane is near parallel to the coronal plane. Later scans however seem t be a different patient. Sad that Siemens forgot to include this great technique in their new video.

@@minkseales6280 done my left shoulder today, apart from really loud noises its nothing to be scared of. Even with headphones it gets quite loud but nothing u cant take. It took me around 20-25 minutes and thats the toughest part probably since you have to stay still and you can get numbness in certain parts. But really nothing scary just take it slowly :)

At some point I have to go to have my 2nd MRI scan on my shoulder to find out why my shoulder keeps dislocating and popping out which is extremely painful I’ve had an MRI before when I was younger on my head.

Same here, my shoulder was dislocated during my basketball training and now I need to have my 2nd MRI because my first MRI, the nurse keeps insisting on me to stop moving and just relax btw it was really my first time that's why it really makes me so nervous and I can't breathe that normal. But now yeah I got some good info in yt and google, so now I am kinda ready for my 2nd MRI.

Does the positioning matter with a shoulder mri? The tech I saw placed my arm over my stomach and I was basically leaning to the right.

Here it shown as palm open up or supinated?
Or the effected shoulder should be placed with the palm facing towards body and Thumb up .

I have to get one for my shoulder in a few days. I’m just trying to find out about how long it’s supposed to take. I’m somewhat claustrophobic 😩
@@insidethemusik7114 it takes 30 minutes. But you can ask the doctor that ordered it to give u an ativan to take an hour before the MRI. It will sometimes put u to sleep. But u will feel very relaxed. That's what they did to me
