It looks like the fast cross rolls are done with tighter crosses and the slow ones step wider. I'm also noticing there is very little hip and shoulder rotational movement on both. When I first tried the fast ones too much rotational movement was throwing me off. Focusing on keeping the shoulders still and not rotating the hips, but just hitting active edges, seemed to help. I'm still working on getting those fast ones a little smoother, but i think that is due to not hitting a deep outside edge quick enough.

The boards mean the walls around the rink. The lengths and widths, that is to say long boards and short boards. Parallel to the short boards means don’t twist your shoulders.

+Melissa Toh Sounds like you are describing a cross behind. Can you tell me by the edges? For example: Left forward outside edge, cross behind right forward inside edge.

right leg outside edge after that left inside. I am not sure if I'm right :(

Ok, if both are going forwards then it's Forward Crossover or Forward Progressive. Unless the left crosses behind the right, then it's Cross Behind. If both are backwards and the right pushes underneath the left, then it's Backward Crossover. If both are backwards and the right foot does not push underneath, instead pushes next to the left then it's Backward Progressive. If the left foot crosses in front of the right, the it is a Cross in Front.
Also, this can be a forward or backward Chasse, if stroke on the right foot and then lift it up next to the left. If, instead you slide your right foot out as you switch to the left, it would be a Slip Chasse.
