I was reading the manual for the new grand highlander and it looks like on newer cars there might be even more ways to store/recall seat positions. For example it sounds like user profiles will store the last used position for each profile. So when the car loads a profile based on a digital key or face identification, it will then move the seats to the last position for that profile.

So I know for my old Avalon and my current RX, there is a feature called Easy Exit, where the seats extend out and steering wheel retracts so the driver can get in/out easily. Will this seat memorization mess with the Easy Exit feature?

Is this Toyota’s entry exit solution? I’m very short so my seats are very close to steering and it makes it hard to get out.

Hey Steve - I just came across your channel. Welcome from Nova Scotia, Canada! Great job on the videos!!! I just bought a 2021 RAV4 XLE Premium. I assume that the 2nd key fob (my wife's) can also be programmed on her L2 settings for when she's drives the car? If so, I assume my key fob would have to be in the house (or not in the car at the same time she's programming her key fob). Thanks!
it will program to the fob inside the car. make sure you hit the right button 1 or 2

Can you remove the feature or no?
Like when you set it to the key, can you remove it or no?
You can reset to factory defaults or reset the key the same way again to a different position
Hi Steven, thanks for the tip. It works great on my 2021 Toyota Venza Limited, but I can't get the mirrors to work with my key fob as the seat and steering wheel do. Any suggestions would be helpful. Have a most blessed day!
it does not adjust the mirrors on the venza or rav4

@@stevenwelchtoyota There is one thing that I have not understood very well, the map when traveling, what do all those little dots on the road mean and I know they are not cars because there is no cars around me when I have traveled a two way road? Any help would be much appreciated.
@@stevenwelchtoyota So... then this feature doesn't have any sence at all if it's not work for mirrors. What a stupid idea then from toyota to have this and you should click again on a button "1" or "2" to adjust mirrors. And again, why only rav4 and venza?? this is just extra few rows in the code to add for both

I have a question please I adjusted the seet and mirrors on button 1 but I adjusted it wrong I'm trying to re adjusted it it won't let me it go back to the wrong setting so my question is how to clear the setting and reset it up

I have Lexus RX450h 2010. When I start the engine the seat is adjusted automatically to my position and when I turn it off the seat goes about 10inches back for easy exit. I ordered a Rav4 2023 with memory seats, is it possible to program this in Rav4 ?
