Early on in this thought experiment I had a medium to long haul point to point model in mind using the Boeing 787. With regards the name, it'd probably be something like Airmon (which sounds like Eamon with an R) or add IR after the A in Ahern and call it Airhern. As I was writing I realised Heron would be a good name because when you say "a heron" it's basically Ahern with an added O, and what better logo to represent flying than a bird?! I'd base it in Shannon. Either lease or build a headquarters in Shannon Free Zone, the buisness and industrial estate beside the airport, and/or have office space in Limerick city. A deal with Shannon aerospace for maintenance and engineering services if that was possible. While it wouldn't be a low cost model like Ryanair, I would adopt some ideas from the low cost model like a single aircraft type fleet, that being the 787 mentioned earlier. It'd have a 2 class cabin configuration - premium & economy. As for logo, social media & Web presence etc., I'd see who seems to have a similar, or better, vision to my own in the recruitment process and hire the best fit for those. I haven't considered cargo. Mine would be mostly, if not wholly, focused on passengers.
Can’t wait 😛 to see “Aircraft ✈️ Selection and Sourcing”. Keep 🆙 da good 👍 work 😓, ‘Long Haul by Simple Flying’. I’m dead 😵 fascinated 🤨 by your ‘How To Start An Airline’ videos. They are very entertaining indeed. Safe travels 🧳 ✈️ 🛫 🚕….

Airline name: Asha Airways (Means hope in Hindi) or HopOn HopOff Logo: something about clouds Airports (In Canada then expansion to US and India): There are so many small airfields all around significant cities so we will target those. Mainly Calgary, Surrey or Abbotsford, Around Montreal and Toronto, maybe winnipeg. The expansion to around Dallas, Delhi, Mumbai, Seattle and some vacation sites like Macau, Dubai, Mauritius and the list goes on. Starter in Canada or somewhere like this because slightly easy to deal with paperwork (though it still takes time), governmental support is enormous. Helps in making businesses successful. Else somewhere in South America or Africa. (No to USA and Europe or even India, I will die till the paperwork will get finish). Haven't seen how it is in Sri Lanka or countries with hyperinflation (because of cheaper conversion rates and easier air laws. And they are needed just for the sake of those certifications.) Idk if it is practical or not. Aircraft: No to boeings and airbus, easy maintenance but big sharks are super duper costly. Will go with a Mitsubishi MRJ (90 or 100X), or Bombardier (Q400), or Comac ARJ21. You guys got the idea right, they are almost equivalent but far cheaper with fewer to no fatalities so far. And lastly, Mitsubishi, bombardier and comac have headquarters in Canada or US. Comac one is not so efficient. Partnerships: Hopefully some regional airline for kickstart like for credit cards. Generally, Skyteam alliance, Star Alliance, OneWorld (any) or at the very least Air Miles. After all, beggars are not choosers.

This is actually really interesting to watch and im so early this time (: 7th
Would starting off with 2 leased embraer jets or leased 1 airbus a319 be ideal for an airline start
Good 👍 way to start an airline.
One jet? What happens if it is out for maintenance?
Why is no one talking about the new Niceair in Iceland????
✈🛩
9:50 by saying that safety will always be your number 1 priority, he means don´t get any Boeing jets.
?
only the 737 max might have issues but they are sorting it out and airbus has had crashes before so I wouldn't say that
Yes, there is a specific CEO: me.
