  • Could the Vincita Nash Rack Bag help with Brompton cycle touring and bikepacking?
Like many Brompton lovers who enjoy getting out on their bike for weekends away, bikepacking and cycle tours, I’m always on the hunt for ways to improve my bikepacking and cycle touring set up.
Up until now, I did not have a back rack bag and instead tried to tie my backpack to it with the bungee cords. I even tried tying a tote bag to it!
The problem is that my heels touch or get stuck on the bag while cycling which is very frustrating while on a long cycling trip. I even resorted to peddling on my heels to avoid hitting the bag - not a very efficient way of cycling.
Finally, I looked online at some back rack bags for my Brompton. I eventually found the ‪@Vincitaofficial‬ Nash Bag in an offer online for £60 and thought I’d try it out.
Knowing the pain of finding the right set up, I thought I'd share my take on the bag in this video.

They carry a larger version, called the Big Nash. It’s better suited for long tours. They also have a new bag you might want to check out, called the BDR touring bag.

I may have to invest in that after I save up a bit more!

A 35 or 55-liter Waterproof Dry Bag Backpack resting on the back rack and the shoulder straps fixed to a 12-inch pole strapped to your saddle. 👍

I have that bag and it’s great but is limited on size and the clip on base is extremely sturdy but it is heavy

Yeah it is so sturdy. Actually I just used around Wales qutie a bit. The bag itself is qutie heavy. But at least I don't have to worry about it falling off!
