Another great video! 🎉 If I ever get the Steamdeck, I will return for this video! Because nobody likes drift.. Looking at all my Switch controllers.....😅
Thanks for the video but i still have a question, how does the calibration work exactly because i see 2 buttons and on my old gulkit sticks for my lcd it was only one and the calibration was meh at best😂 The sticks also weren't dead center for me so i am nervous to try something new.. (My oled makes weird sounds when moving the sticks and all resistance is gone from them so i need a replacement)
Fantastic question and thanks for asking. It's a little confusing for sure. If I recall correctly basically one is for calibrating the outer circle or maximum radius of the stick and the other is for center alignment. I messed up the calibration on one of the sticks and then the Steam calibration didn't like it until I restarted and reinstalled the old sticks, even now it's kind of wonky when you go into the settings, but I have no problems whatsoever during gameplay. You can see some of the calibration in their tutorial video here: www.handhelddiy.com/pages/improve-steamdeck-joystick But as mentioned in my video you can't really see the buttons too well which is why I mentioned it. Please let me know if you have any questions, there is definitely just a bit more resistance on these sticks and other than the calibration thing I do like them.
Great video man. Fixing to get myself some soon
Thanks so much for your kind words. Please let me know if you do get them and what you think!
nice video, thanks for the review!
Thanks footie!
