I just now have come across your video of air box elimination mounting bracket. I don’t have the tools to be able to make one myself. Been riding my bike since 2003 without any support for the cable since. One of the first things I did when I got this bike was to remove the box and attempt to build something that would support it. Finally had to give up because I’m just not cleaver enough to make one like you have. Have been riding it without since. Needless to say it hasn’t worked out very well, and syncing carbs etc. doesn’t seem to work very good. Difficult to ride like that. Was hoping that maybe you could possibly make one for me? I would be eternally grateful and would certainly be happy to pay reasonable price for your efforts. Thank you Sir for your consideration. Yours truly, Terry
I will have to find some spare time. I have not been on the channel in about year or the bikes doing a lot of house projects (finishing up painting the house). I will get back with you if find some time and break out the tools.
I really appreciate the compliment. Sorry for the delay. This COVID has me tied up helping out others for the past many months and I have not had much time for the bikes or posting to social media...I moved all the fuses under the seat, behind the rear carb. You can see them in the video if you pause it. I have just started posting to Instagram for public consumption. I need to add more photos. Been doing a lot of this without using social media for a long while. I will try to post a video specifically on the electrics and where all of the components are mounted with an explanation for each in a week or two.
I apologize, the fuses and electrics can be seen in the "Walk Around" video I posted. Take a look there and you will see a brief explanation of what was done.
Sorry folks...I dropped off social media. It was getting too much for me to juggle all those with a full time job and house renovations/upgrades and fielding questions about the bikes.
There is one airbox on this 1400. Each carb has an intake tube from the box to the carbs. I have removed all that and installed individual filter pods.

Awesome video. This was just what I needed! What did you do for the second airbox as far as the fuses attached to the airbox?

Is there anywhere I can ask you more questions like a social media platform?

What did you do for the rear airbox? Electric mounting.

I have another video that shows where I tucked all the electrics. Lots of modification due to custom work.
Can you make 1 for some cash?? I really need one as i plan on deleting air box for pod filters.
Are you asking for the throttle cable mount? If that is the case, I have not thought about it...Yes. Do you have Instagram?
