@@EDGEoftheOUTBACK well, you use your TH-cam channel to market your services, so making the videos is a way to keep your contract shooting business successful. It gives you a way to explain why pest control is so important, so there are fewer haters. As an added benefit, you get thousands of dollars from views. Besides, your info shows that you enjoy making these videos so it's not like some horrible chore, it's something that you enjoy doing.
Hey how much is your full setup. I'm seeing 2500 for gun, 1000 scope, 35 a 500tin for pellets, how much is each ring cartridge and tripod, and the other gear needed. Appreciate your work. Does the pellet scratch galv? Of all the hunting vids I've seen you are the most humane I've seen, very accurate. Does your scope auto set the crosshairs? You've like a full on marksman. Did that take years of shooting? Curious on the tripod. Just a random TH-camr who is amazed by your skill. My cousin was a pro Roo shooter .223. sometimes I wish I had a basic air rifle for minor birds only but I'm in the suburbs and doubt I'd get a license lol. I had 14 high power snap traps, bucket drops but can't find where they are nesting. Daytime temps hit 40 C in shed as I have sensors there. Appreciate the good work.
To all those people out there that are not properly educated on evasive pests in Australia-this is called professional pest control management and is ethical and humane. Most people that watch this channel completely understand why this has to be done but there’s always a few trolls that have no idea what these pests do to the environment and farmer’s infrastructure. Good job Nathan,100% backed by us Queensland hunters and land owners 👍
@@EDGEoftheOUTBACK no problem,I was a feral pig shooter out on the south western downs region in Queensland for many years and also did feral cats and dogs for a while too and I’ve seen first hand the damage evasive pests can do and when domesticated animals are released into the wild, absolute carnage on our native wildlife and vegetation.
There’s nothing quite like soothing therapy. Love watching the different acrobatics of each bird. Even the pigs and the hares/rabbits provide no end of gymnastic displays
Professional feral pest control at its best! Good to see someone who cares about farmers and farming and is committed to helping reduce the feral pest load in rural Australia.

Well done. Pigeons and Indian Mynas are such a pest on farms. thx for explaining the use of thermal vs night vision for the controls. Also the pellet weight. Good shooting and video. Cheers.
Good job and video ! Pest control is a most underrated bussines. A lot people don,t understand the danger for the envirnoment and the society, when they release or support non-native species
Great job Nathan, looked like a lot of fun. Indian myna’s were my favourite target as a kid but they caught on pretty quick sneaky buggers. Look forward to more of your vids 👍👍
I love pigeons, have one as a pet. They don't really displace and harrass natives like mynas do. There is certainly a big enough population to support a few shots though! Love your work on the cats, your aim is incredible!
@@EDGEoftheOUTBACK They do 😅I think its where they like to roost. It tends to fall onto and build up on buildings, paths and solid structures. Native habitat are cliffs. Don't think the total s**t production rate of our bird is much different to our mate's parrot 😆

I swear, when you said that people were saying that you’re shooting Gods Dove of Peace (or whatever the hell it was) I just about fell out of my seat, laughing SO hard…. Seriously, some of these Bible Bashing Devil Dodgers need to cool their jets a bit. These Pigeons aren’t bringing Peace but they are leaving in Pieces 😂.
Those fx air guns are an awesome bit of gear,a little out of my price range affordability but it’s good to see them being demonstrated. The technology has come so far with high powered air rifles it’s unbelievable, and with the ongoing shortages of reloading supplies ( particularly large rifle primers ) and the outrageous prices of factory ammunition, gun powder and brass these are becoming a good option. The pellets are pretty cheap and come in a good variety of calibres.
Another display of humane feral pest control. I think your video editing is excellent. As is your ability to create a short story. I thought your comment on NV vs thermal was very i interesting. Both certainly have their place in my experience. The haters can get lost as far as I’m concerned. They generally have no idea about the harm invasive species cause.
