Great video Nathan. Air rifles have come a long way from the break barrel versions of my childhood. That is a serious pest control tool you were using. Interesting that your observations about the difficulty locating targets in grass with the IR compared to the thermal. Having said that when I R works well, it works really well. Love all the footage of the bunnies being sent to Valhalla. Excellent effort to get that fox. The slug clearly had plenty of energy left to dump into that fox cub.
Yes they are definitely leaps and bounds ahead, I still have a break air rifle and it's terrible LOL. The slug on that fox actually passed right through which is cool as to think it's capable of this performance.
Fantastic stuff Nathan that brings back a lot of memories from about 60 odd years ago plinking bunnies the bloody things in some places were thicker than the hair on a cats back we would go out most weekends and get 40 or 50 in an afternoon sometimes even more we would keep some for our own families and give the rest away to the old folk around town

I'm pretty spoilt up here on the north coast, that is pretty much my nightime soundtrack with the bedroom louvres open from September onwards, plus the relaxing sound of the ocean in the distance. Though a couple of times a month the ocean can sound like a freight-train!

Incredible distance you are shooting them Bunnies at, and the fox. PCP air rifles are a lot different than shooting Springers. FPS must be up there to be shooting that flat at the distance you are on target with no hold over. Great vid Nathan and fantastic shooting. Gunna watch it again.

Yes that's correct the PARD has a LRF and ballistic calculator. But the data required validating and correction as it was not accurate as entered into the device.
That was awesome, hunting with a reasonably quiet air rifle & great accuracy, ha could be the user as well 👍. As a hunter I always fear the wildlife will leg it when the first shot is fired & the tranquility is gone..Like always you have shared with us another great session, thank you.

The range finder on the scope is brilliant, saves the guess work. Doesn't it show how far air rifles have come when you can drop a fox from over 100 yards, that and the right ammo.

Thanks mate. The FX is a fantastic tool but they are expensive. I enjoy the adjustability for various pellets and slugs but it was a nut ache to get tuned right. Works great now though.
Awesome shooting Nathan especially the fox, I have a Brocock sniper XR magnum in 22, with a ATN4K Pro on top, and once you get them set up correctly, they are deadly 😎
Finally someone using the standard m3 with the 600mm barrel with the standard trs fixed to it now I finally know what mine should look like in the configuration looks Amazing btw good stuff!
Absolute brilliant setup, I would love one of these, I have seen guys take sparrows at 100 + yards with the FX. The problem is they are pricey. Love your videos, keep up the good work!
The impact is amazing if you can handle all the bs that comes with it. I purchased a Vulcan 3 a few months back and now my impact is nothing more than a paper weight… way more consistent and no hassle! Just air the thing up and go hunting! Shooting 1 inch groups (ON PAPER) at 200 yards on calm days.

Not saying the Vulcan 3 is the best airgun, but I will say for the average joe that doesn’t want to dedicate his life to “the tune” it’s absolutely the way to go!! Assuming you can find slugs that are actually the correct diameter to fit bore. In the states I’m lucky to have avs slugs! They are a game changer.

I love hunting with my airgun but I only have the atn xsight pro on it for now but those thermal scopes change the game I need to hopefully upgrade some day. I shoot 56gr hollow point .25 slugs at about 980 fps and with a huge ldc it's quiet as hell til it hits the target haha you no when u hit your target. Love the videos btw keep up the awesome content

I still prefer my 22LR for most rabbit shooting. But the FX definitely has a place in the safe for certain applications. And that list is expanding as I gain more confidence.
Great footage...I just acquired the PARD 008, but it doesn't have the LRF...a great tool to be sure...thanks...btw, I'm putting my scope on a Gamo Swarm Magnum 10X GEN3i Inertia Fed .22 Caliber Break Barrel air Rifle. High Power 10-Shot Pellet air Gun. 1,300 fps Velocity. I'm greatly encouraged after seeing this video. Will attempt to work the magic on squirrels here.
I notice with your air file that you aim high through the scope, so to me there is still an element of skill and guess work goes into getting a successful shot, and you can see the round dropping as it travels. This is just my ignorance , but do modern sights with range finders built in not adjust the position of the crosshairs to account for range with an air rifle so that you still only have to put the crosshairs on your target rather guesstimate? Thanks. I’m really enjoying your videos having recently found them. You have a great Aussie narrative.

I have 2 fx’s and they are awesome! Badgers, squirrels, and rabbits have little chance 75 yards and closer. PCP is the only way to go!!
I'm happy with how mine in running now. Definitely a handy tool.

Works well for what it is. Shame about the lower 30hz rating which does introduce image lag. But they are fine for shooting static targets.

What a great Bunny Buster. Way better and Cheaper than a 22 rimfire.
I still prefer my 22LR for most rabbit shooting. But the FX definitely has a place in the safe for certain applications. And that list is expanding as I gain more confidence.
(1) Nice to see the actual slug, the white moving dot. (2) Why are you aiming higher than the target?
I'm aiming higher as that's ballistics for longer range shooting. Bullets or in this case slugs don't shoot flat for very far.

Great footage...I just acquired the PARD 008, but it doesn't have the LRF...a great tool to be sure...thanks...btw, I'm putting my scope on a Gamo Swarm Magnum 10X GEN3i Inertia Fed .22 Caliber Break Barrel air Rifle. High Power 10-Shot Pellet air Gun. 1,300 fps Velocity. I'm greatly encouraged after seeing this video. Will attempt to work the magic on squirrels here.

I notice with your air file that you aim high through the scope, so to me there is still an element of skill and guess work goes into getting a successful shot, and you can see the round dropping as it travels. This is just my ignorance , but do modern sights with range finders built in not adjust the position of the crosshairs to account for range with an air rifle so that you still only have to put the crosshairs on your target rather guesstimate? Thanks. I’m really enjoying your videos having recently found them. You have a great Aussie narrative.
The PARD series scope like I'm running give me a hold over marker if the LRF and ballistics is used.
