I just picked one up today at a gun show. 135 bucks… I had a 940 YEARS ago… this thing is sweet.. and I LOVE that they put barrel spacers. Cause with a lanyard this knife is perfect for me.. gotta swap the hardware to all satin tho! The handles feel great. This is the perfect size knife
Had a t-shirt with the same issue. Don’t try to extract the end inside the seam. You will ruin the collar seam (did that).
Pull the tag so that the internal piece is as close the the fabric hem, and snip off as much as possible with fine scissors. Leave the end tab inside the hem. It won’t float around, and you won’t be able to feel it, as the ends are cushioned by the fabric.
But you'll know it's in there 😱
I love the chalky fell of the knife,but it totally smooths out after some use
The Benchmade Osborne's are great knives, I agree they are a staple in most collections. Some people (such as yourself) move beyond them in price and quality and some don't. Nothing wrong either way. Thanks for sharing.

I like the 940 I carry one atleast once a week. I have the g10 945 and it’s nice I carry it a little less than the regular one though
Never had a 940 in any version but a knife that has always interested me. I would like one day to check out both the standard and mini. I like that they made this mini in the classic style. Great review 👍

Love the reviews. I was wondering if you could share your knife storage some time. I have the nalpak/pelican inserts and cases. Just wondering if you have a different method...maybe there is a video in it.
I do have a video on my NalPak. I have 2 different ones and looking at another now that will hold a couple knives, couple of watches and a light.

I got mine and It lasted 2 weeks then the omega spring broke I sent it into Benchmade and they have had it longer than me

I hate when you get a tag like that. It's happened to me. I don't like the 945 just too small. One of these days I'm going to get a 940
Yes the 945 is small. I would only get one if in cf just to match the 940. Why exactly…I have no idea. I have too many knives laying around just because I feel like I should 🤷🏼♂️🤦🏻♂️
