We did not test the axle back but I would figure since that uses the smaller diameter stock piping and has the OEM resonator that this will be louder - I can tell you this thing is deep sounding
Interested in purchasing a second generation 86. One of the factors holding me back is the oil pan gasket (rtv) issue. Any news if Toyota/Subaru will address this. I’ve noticed the 2023 models are starting to make their way to the states. Do you think it has been addressed with the new model year?
Warranty. Unless you plan on voiding every aspect of it or putting a ton of miles on the car in the first couple of years, just let the warranty take care of the issue should it arise.
are tip sizes the same btwn the single and dual? for some reason, the tip size on the dual is more agreeable with me and looks like it goes better with the rear valance...the single tip looks too large for the space and screams "look at me". smaller tip on the single and it will look better imo. sound wise; I'd go either way...

I follow multiple owners that got it inspected and resealed under warranty
It definitely is still present in the 2023, get one and have the dealer fix it
