Quitting beer has been amazing! I wake up early every morning, I get so much done during the day and I no longer feel the need to stay up late at night, I go right to bed around 10 to 11pm and sleep like a baby. It's also insane how easy it is to plan things out in advance, you don't have to worry about driving and you don't have to worry about how much booze will be at an event, you just show up. It's like I've unlocked the easy mode in life.
Thanks for sharing! It really is nice not having to plan around drinking! I love all the hop water options there are now days! Keep up the good work! Ever wanna come do a podcast, let me know!!! We are off cloverland and overland.
Keith is very good I remember him from your live feed, I feel we’re all fairly close in journeys. And the things you’re speaking about are on point, you’re so right on about fitting in. Congratulations on 14 can’t wait for 24 🎉 thanks you’re awesome.
I appreciate that!!! Keith is very inspiring for sure, and he pushes me to keep working hard on reaching people. He’s come so far. A lot of us have ❤️😊! It you are ever up to do a podcast with me, let me know! It doesn’t have to be live stream!
@@Soberstrong I’ll do the pod cast 🙂 I’d be happy to do it. I am grateful you asked that’s big deal ,cause you’re kind of blowing up I am a firm believer in respect. 🫡 in the community, and relationships I know there is so much to talk about I feel topics can go into rabbit holes , anything you’d like to pick or lol the random stuff works as well.
Another great video thank you for sharing. You’re helping hundreds along their journey who in turn will help hundreds more and on and on. I’ve had to detach from many friends and family that I drank with. some act very snobby and jealous and some over the top happy for me and ask me how they can do what I’ve done. Helping others see it can be done has in turn helped me and I love that. Keep walkin!!
“Over the top” that’s the worst!!!! Drives me nuts! 😂 It’s a common trend among us sober people, which is crazy because it shows just how toxic alcohol is
“Meghan The Truth “ I’m starting to inspire people. They were going to judge you no matter what. lol they do get so weird 🙂🙃, you’re right you can’t control it. You have instilled this in me and I’m just checking in.
Congrats. I've got 25 years myself. Don't overdue yourself by trying to achieve it all at once if you been through a program you know to much to fast creates stress and that's a red flag zone.
I was an alcoholic and took opiate and smoked weed on a regular basis for 20 years .. I’ve always worked 6 days a week ..I was a functioning addict ..I kept everything from my loved ones ..moral of story I eventually lost everything my family that is ..then I reached out and got help and went to weekly groups for 5 years and took soboxzone..I am 42 and just now 6 months clean …absolutely nothing ..I don’t think some addicts realize how tough they are to get clean ..26 years 7 days a week multiple drug addiction ..I can handle anything ..
Meghan I have a confession to make. I messed up ☹, this Saturday gone I had some. It was a beer festival I went to in honour of my friend who just passed away in July. It was his birthday last Thursday so was for that. But I kept it very minimal and didn't wake up with a sore head or any of that and will definitely stay away for a good while now if not for good. Hope you don't think less of me or judge me. But you're doing marvelous, so proud of you don't stop just because I did as what I intend to be a one off.
I appreciate your honestly James. Thank you for opening up. I’m glad it didn’t take you down a rabbit hole of drinking again, and hope you are strong enough to realize that you can’t do that regularly, or it will take you back down. I don’t think of less of you at all. Your strength is admirable, and I know this was just a day, and you’ll move past it. ❤️
@@Soberstrong Thank you Meghan 😥. I am conscious about that and can't make it regular at all, definitely don't want to be back in that dark place again. Just cannot no way. Thanks again ❤.

What new book are you reading related to co denpency?
“Co dependent no more” by Melanie Beattie. It’s so good!!! Very eye opening
