Brandi’s calm and inviting disposition is so nice to see! Wow it’s like she’s forcing him to open up and be honest more than with other guests. Great topics and great visuals to experience.

I’m so glad that she made it clear staying in the marriage was as never the goal healing was. Second, Nick if you omit the truth that means you’re a liar. Adults can handle being disappointed. He just needs to accept the fact that the women he’s dealing with have low self esteem steel and self worth like the other doctor told him. If he’s open and honest upfront about not being monogamous them using emotions to manipulate his behavior is not acceptable. It’s a sign of immaturity on their part as well which equals low vibration

Yes, you can thrive and be single! If Nick wouldn’t have talked so much he could have learned from Devon

I felt like this was a therapy session and he unpacked alot. He definitely put a mirror up to himself and examed his short comings. There were some truths that he had admitted that caused me to ponder.

I love the revelation that Nick had when he said that he doesn't see his mother, sister, daughters in women of other races, which is why he and possibly other black men go outside their race....almost as a way to spare black women from their F'ery. Basically, to avoid accountability. However, what does it mean when they MARRY outside of their race? Black women have been extremely loyal to black men and we are JUST NOW beginning to see more and more black women stepping outside of their race...and still getting hurt and played. I think it's a bigger conversation about how black women are viewed universally and how we are valued. Anyhoo! Really good conversation, Nick talked a lot but I think what came up from him was profound.

Nick want it to be slim
Picking options for black women so bad. Then single blank women are not jealous of all women who have a relationship. Being single isn’t a bad thing when especially in comparisons to nicks situation

Brandi didn’t say much, she seemed like a therapist here.

Nick makes so many generalizations. Not every man wants to be chasing 50 million women or need that! Some don’t have problems with monogamy. Others just struggle with their own self worth and identity and wrap being a man in their bodies

Advice to women date the “nerd” grow to love his ways and ask yourself how is this working for me in comparison to my natural attraction to the bad boy, irresponsible, pretentious adult males. Be honest and go with your decision. 21:00

Halfway in and this is an interesting conversation. Very honest. It just makes me sad to know that everyone can't find themselves their person. A relationship that leads to marriage or companionship without deception. Settling for whatever someone gives them for the sake of not being alone.

Nick is confusing women's survival needs (monogamy=safety), and women having a lack of desire for multiple partners.
A lack of desire would mean that when women self-pleasure, they only fantasize about their partners. It would also mean that when they watch TV, or scroll through social media and see an attractive man or when they're in the presence of a man they're attracted to, their heart doesn't race faster nor do they exhibit other physiological responses that indicate arousal.
Monogamy is not about maintaining sexual desire for only one person for a lifetime. It's about certainty and safety.

Would be good to hear the guest speak a bit more. Try keeping it short and to the point Nick.

He needs to stop over talking people and let them finish their thought in its entirety before jumping in. It's so frustrating.

I really felt like I found my person. But she was very half truths/white lies/omission like Nick. It’s very manipulative and cowardly. Transparency vs vulnerability. Maybe one day we will come back together. It’s always the “I like communication” ppl too lol

Why is someone knowing their worth and value putting themselves on a pedestal? It’s better to know your worth and value and be single than it is to settle or act like nick’s bed crying about what they knew from the jump!

I think he is aware of who he is, and can articulate it well, but he is still unable to take accountability and change it. He almost uses his truth telling as an excuse to address those truths. It places the blame of the wrong on the other person because they know his truths and choose to deal with it.

The insecurity and immaturity in our community is always on display. Love the dialogue but the segregation of the black family is always front and center. Sad.

Nick needs to be more honest and admit that he goes for non black and multi racial women because he deems them more beautiful. Society has always pushed lighter as being better. Long straight hair is seen as beautiful while kinky hair with shrinkage is labeled bad. This however is geared more toward black women. We unknowingly learned this behavior from living in a racist world so I'm not shaming however if we don't start being true with how we feel then how can we ever figure out that it's a problem
