- Hi everyone, my name's Minjeo, in case you didn't know... Today we are back in Trainz 2019, today's video will be a little tutorial on how to install 3rd party content.
Trainz Railroad Simulator 2019 is a realistic and immersive simulation game for those hardcore enthusiasts. You can play in so many realistic scenarios, drive around some maps, you can play with others in multiplayer, and make you own maps!
Then there is me, I race trains on a map that I made and make videos on it.

Everything in this video works from TRS12 to TRS22 and everything in between. It works with vehicles, routes and everything else. CDP files are what you need to import to the game for things to work. Yes, you do need a Trainz account to use the content manager. If it doesn't work, you need to download some more dependencies - I'm not finding them for you - or you did it wrong. No this tutorial doesn't work with the mobile versions either.
This tutorial is shit and I don't know why it's still getting views. If you need more help, the internet is your friend. I've been done playing with Trainz for years, and don't plan on coming back anytime soon.

Thanks for this! I used to drag the file into Content manager and it never worked but seeing this video helped me realize I was doing it wrong the whole time.
This actually helps because now I know how to install stuff I use to know all this shit but now I havent been on a computer in 10 years soo I forgot everything
i downloaded a trio of pennsylvania locos and it worked perfectly :)

i tried this, and when i tried downloading the stuff that was missing, it wouldn't download, saying there are no assets. it would just sit there loading forever.
edit: nvm it was bc i wasnt logged into trainz

I have a little problem when i download trains onto trainz 2019 because when i do download the dependentsis it says that it can’t fully download and that there is an error so now i have a lot of gs2 and gs4 and gs6 tenders
It keeps saying open for edit in trains 2022 do you know how to fix it?

did everything but the trains still are not showing up in the train list even not at the bottom they don't even show up at all funny thing is it only gives me warnings no red errors I'm using trainz2019
What happens when you get to the Google drive can’t scan this file for viruses webpages
it wont work how much i try i tried downloading the depenecies and it just says trainz account required
that means you need to connect your trainz account to the game

Try checking if your N3V account is still connected to Trainz. You need that to download content from the DLS.

When i open the file and it says its completed, it doesnt show it in the downloads-today?
my trainz keeps saying unable to contact server. (Im trying to install the F-E-F 2-3's from trainforge and files are not installing.

i have JRs KCS ES44AC and there BNSF SD60M and there both red for me and im playing on trainz a new era how do i fix that

I've done everything that the video said, I made sure everything wasn't red. But when I enter the game the box that shows the trains it won't place and the title of the train is red and it won't show a model of the train. Please help i couldn't find any other videos about this.
Are you sure that all the dependencies are not faulty? If they are all working fine, then I have no idea, sorry about that.
If the dependencies say that they are functional, and it continues to break like this, then you could go to support.trainzportal.com/ and submit a ticket for assistance.

I have not tried downloading 3rd party maps before, but I'm pretty sure that this will work with maps.

You just need to click on the item and then hit ctrl+del. Make sure you do this on the DLS

Does this work for the steam version? if so, is the process the same.
I don't have the steam version, so I do not know. I would imagine that it would be the same.
Is it supposed to take a while to download dependencies?
I'm pretty sure that it just depends on your internet speed.
But I don't know, I don't really notice it taking a while.

Try searching around the website for dependencies for the locomotive/car.
Does it work with Trainz sim 12?

when I go to download the dependences it says my account isn't authorized but it is. Anyone have the same problem.
Go into "Trainz Settings", then go into "Internet", then you have to input your username and password for Auran.com. It should then work.

you need to log into trainz using your mytrainz account

if you bought the game through the website you should already have one. if you bought it through steam then you need to make one yeah.
What is Pre-TRS19 Content and how can I be sure that the contents are not fill with viruses?
That basically means that the piece of content was released before trs19 was, or it was made for an older game like T:ANE. If it's a .cdp file then it should be good to import into trainz.

Hello vey useful video, but do you know why the download speed is so slow like 10 kbps and how to fix it??
My guess is its either your internet, or trainz being bad at optimization.

@@WestCoastRailroadProductions Hello, I think the problem you are having is that you need to sign into trainz using your MyTrainz account (Auran). On the launcher click on "Trainz Settings". From there you need to click on where it says "MyTrainz" and log in using the same credentials you would on the website. That should solve your problem.
