I’m about to redo my braids this week. The extra hair (I call it the fluff😄), I use a crochet needle (the kind for hair, not sweaters). You just insert it into the braid and knot it. And you can mark October 13 on your calendar for me 😂

Hey Deb, I just wanted to share my testimony with you that God healed my pcos and that I had multiple cysts on both my ovaries, and they are fully gone, I am believing this for you, I know that food can help with the symptoms but I went through a phase with food…be vigilant that the enemy won’t use this as an opportunity to create a bad relationship with food, just know food is good and that the spirit in you is greater ❤❤❤
Hi Deborah any advice on what to do during a fast. I easily get bored with a wandering mind anytime I fast. I pray, read my bible but then I get bored and feed on random videos to consume the rest of my time. What can I do to keep my mind occupied
Oeeeh sis I know the feeling! I think fasting truly is all about letting the word be enough. Learning that God’s word is sufficient. So sitting with those feelings of boredom! You have to allow them to come over you to overcome them. Cause if you constantly look for another source of entertainment and fulfillment you’ll go right back to that after the fast. Your attention span has to be cleansed also, so let yourself be bored until your not anymore 😂 Short form content truly feeds into a wandering mind so if you keep going to the videos during your fast it won’t help… I struggle with this a lot too! But it’s truly resisting the urge! What does really help for me is to go on walks! To be outside, take in nature and have moments of quiet time 🌳

You can also try to be creative whilst being rooted in God. Drawing, journaling, collage art based on scripture, or if not you can just listen to worship music during that time (but try your best to worship along). What I like to do is Bible study and then I go ahead and create a collage/scrapbook page that visualizes the topic. You can do a lot of things but stay focused on God. You can go out for a walk and make it a prayer walk, you can go to a coffee shop and write prayers in your journal. You can read other christian books, that will help you in certain areas. Stuff like that❤ you can meet also meet friends and spend time together in God (though I would be a bit careful not to forget that God is the center of the meeting)

Before i was saved, i used to read and write novels the lusful kind, but after God got to me. i decided to let go of it as I just couldn't not write lust driven romance . Intially, it was difficult, but eventually, i did stop reading and writing those kinds of books . But the writing aspect never returned, even now i sometimes miss being able to write whatever i concoct in my head. I can't write to save my life . I prayed i fasted , i pleaded, but it just gone. It hurts not having something that had so deeply defined who i was, but i wouldn't have it bsck if it meant losing sight of jesus .

I always dabbled with the thought of even starting romance books/stories myself but recently God revealed to me the idea of writing love stories based on God‘s love and it’s attributes that the world is missing, yk? @temnit03 Coolio, I been mixing as of late . C.S.'s books are an awesome start to understanding Christian doctrine and theology. But mainly I read a lot of Christian romance novels . I would recommend Francine Rivers- redeeming love Tessa afrshar- harvest of gold and harvest of rubies . Others authors like Melanie dickerson and mesue Andrews and are a good start ( for Christian fiction, for when u get there). One book I definitely recommend now is sex , Jesus and the conversation the church forgot to have by Mo Islom.
Girl are you me? Because the same thing happened. And I did it because I was also making money out of it! My mental health suffered because of living in the world and God removed me from it, He humbled me in the process and it has been a few years since I last wrote (about 3) but that period has come with creating a clean heart, going to the root of the problem as to why I did it… before He releases you back into the world to do His kingdom work, he first needs to perfect/demolish and restore the you he had always desired for you to be. His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. He will hide you and take you through the wilderness so He can perfect you in the image of His son Jesus Christ. Because when the time comes for you to start writing again, it will be for His glory and not yours. So I will say trust in the Lord and ask Him what is he trying to teach you/what fruit is he pruning in this season of your life… you will be astonished.

haha ahh it’s honestly such a blessing to have you here sis 🥰🤍 Good question about praying for a situation! The word tells us to pray without ceasing, the keep knocking. Luke 18:1-7! So definitely keep praying about it. But there is a balance to not let what you’re praying for consume your mind to the point that that’s all you think about and pray for. So continue to bring it before the Lord and trust that he’s moving on your behalf. But don’t let it consume you to the point that it’s all that’s on your mind. I hope that makes sense 😊
Also I love singing in tongues!! On my ride home last week is was raining extremely hard and I’d never driven in the rain before so I thought to just sing in tongues the entire 45 minutes. I came home in one piece lol

TK Maxx has some goodies, I picked up a 1lt Avocado Oil for £9.99 today and a huge tube of organic coconut sugar for £7.99 which is going to last me a good while. The food journey for health reasons I find challenging and I started off well by cutting out so like gluten, sugar, meat, etc and then there was a Popeye's that opened up near by and I brought some of their food 😣and the door opened to many more food types that I had cut out, now I'm slowly trying to bring back in the food I know works for me as my stomach is bloating badly. I really hope the supplements work out for you and the food journey is easy to make consistent. The dresses are so lovely! Oh my gosh Deborah, do make the songs for the LORD!!!! Amazing what you made so far of the track you shared, looking forward to the completed track. I've personally put it on the shelf and lost the drive to make music as I don't have it in me to do all that it takes to get it out there which is kind of sad as I write it as I should do it for the LORD. The last time I wrote lyrics to a beat my son made and was meant to take the tep to book a studio he knows of and I didn't follow it through. A church I attend will be doing a music outreach and I was just like I'm not putting my name down, I just feel I've done it so many times with other places and it's not really gone anywhere for me so I don't bother. Great video Deborah!! But just so you know chia seeds are supposed to be soaked 30 minutes before eating or putting in foods. Chia seeds expand with water so if you eat the dry there’s a chance they could expand in your throat.

@temnit03 Coolio, I been mixing as of late . C.S.'s books are an awesome start to understanding Christian doctrine and theology. But mainly I read a lot of Christian romance novels . I would recommend Francine Rivers- redeeming love
Tessa afrshar- harvest of gold and harvest of rubies .
Others authors like Melanie dickerson and mesue Andrews and are a good start ( for Christian fiction, for when u get there).
One book I definitely recommend now is sex , Jesus and the conversation the church forgot to have by Mo Islom.
Girl are you me? Because the same thing happened. And I did it because I was also making money out of it! My mental health suffered because of living in the world and God removed me from it, He humbled me in the process and it has been a few years since I last wrote (about 3) but that period has come with creating a clean heart, going to the root of the problem as to why I did it… before He releases you back into the world to do His kingdom work, he first needs to perfect/demolish and restore the you he had always desired for you to be. His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. He will hide you and take you through the wilderness so He can perfect you in the image of His son Jesus Christ. Because when the time comes for you to start writing again, it will be for His glory and not yours. So I will say trust in the Lord and ask Him what is he trying to teach you/what fruit is he pruning in this season of your life… you will be astonished.

haha ahh it’s honestly such a blessing to have you here sis 🥰🤍 Good question about praying for a situation! The word tells us to pray without ceasing, the keep knocking. Luke 18:1-7! So definitely keep praying about it.
But there is a balance to not let what you’re praying for consume your mind to the point that that’s all you think about and pray for.
So continue to bring it before the Lord and trust that he’s moving on your behalf. But don’t let it consume you to the point that it’s all that’s on your mind. I hope that makes sense 😊

I was listening to old songs of mine this week and they just don’t feel as comforting as singing songs to the Lord. I’m hoping to make an EP!! TK Maxx has some goodies, I picked up a 1lt Avocado Oil for £9.99 today and a huge tube of organic coconut sugar for £7.99 which is going to last me a good while. The food journey for health reasons I find challenging and I started off well by cutting out so like gluten, sugar, meat, etc and then there was a Popeye's that opened up near by and I brought some of their food 😣and the door opened to many more food types that I had cut out, now I'm slowly trying to bring back in the food I know works for me as my stomach is bloating badly. I really hope the supplements work out for you and the food journey is easy to make consistent. The dresses are so lovely! Oh my gosh Deborah, do make the songs for the LORD!!!! Amazing what you made so far of the track you shared, looking forward to the completed track. I've personally put it on the shelf and lost the drive to make music as I don't have it in me to do all that it takes to get it out there which is kind of sad as I write it as I should do it for the LORD. The last time I wrote lyrics to a beat my son made and was meant to take the tep to book a studio he knows of and I didn't follow it through. A church I attend will be doing a music outreach and I was just like I'm not putting my name down, I just feel I've done it so many times with other places and it's not really gone anywhere for me so I don't bother. Anyway, your musical creativity you definitely should go forward with and so hope that you put your songs for Jesus out there. Great video Deborah!! But just so you know chia seeds are supposed to be soaked 30 minutes before eating or putting in foods. Chia seeds expand with water so if you eat the dry there’s a chance they could expand in your throat.
