I appreciate it man. Loving the do's and don'ts throughout the video. So many people just don't do that, so thank you!

This is exactly what I needed to install a new radio in a 2013 Forrester. It was all a breeze, instructions were perfect!

Thanks for the excellent video, just removed the touch screen with nav radio from a 2015 forester premium and your video was exactly the right steps.
One caution though, the metal clips that holds the cable sleeves into their plastic homes came out with the cables on mine and one of them stuck into my right index finger when it popped lose(they're VERY sharp at the corners). I was actually hung up on it for a few seconds and couldn't remove my hand from under the dash! Be sure to wear mechanic's gloves or wrap with a rag to prevent this.

Thank you so much for your video instructions. Just followed them to replace my radio. Worked perfectly!

Knocked it out. Much easier to follow than the Crutchfield instructions. Thanks for your time!

Excellent video! I got the bezel removed based on watching another video, but had no idea about the white and blue cables. You saved my radio replacement!

Thank you so much for this! My Bluetooth on my old unit quit so I bought a replacement on eBay. This video was the perfect tool I needed to do the swap in less than an hour. Great job!

Outstanding instructions! I needed to pull the HVAC controls and this video showed me exactly what I needed to see. My fat fingers had a little trouble with the clips where the control cables connected but I managed with a couple of angled picks. The blind wire harness connections were kind of tough but again using an angle pick I could get to the recessed clip and release the wire harness. I definitely would have broke something if I hadn't had this video to guide me. Thanks!

Thank you for uploading this vid. We are disassembling a 2015 Forester and had hit a bit of a bump here. So easy when you see how!

Great instruction man, just FYI for everyone doing an instal on this vehicle. If your nobs don’t have a set turning point and can just constantly spin, you don’t have to worry about the AC control cables at the beginning of the video.

I have controls on my steering wheel. If I upgrade my radio, will it make it so I can't use my wheel to make calls or to play music?

Yes! Finally I can replace that after market PoS in mine! Funny most people remove the OG radio for a big touchscreen unit, I'm putting the original one back in! Hopfully the one I bought at a thrift store works...

Thanks very much. I really appreciate the work you put into this. Nice instructions. I have one question. I have to do what you've done because I've lost audio (I've checked all fuses even the external amp under the seat, and they're all good)....when you took the white wire out initially, did you have to go from the driver's side and if you did, how easy is it to access? Thanks

A body shop took my stereo out and put it back in, the ac knobs must not have been to one side because it now gets stuck. If I want to fix that do I need to take the blue and white cables from the glove box or should I be able to just open up the bezel and make adjustments? Thank you.

One thing I noticed you did at 2:15 when removing the loop for the blue cable is that you snapped off the plastic nub that secured it in place? This isn't a criticism though cause that happened when I removed it on my vehicle.

Is there an aftermarket stereo that moves the backup camera screen down? The tiny screen in our 2015 Forester is a joke?

Thanks for the vid. In my Forester with the full automatic air conditioning it was easier as there was no need to go through the side to disconnect the "bowden" cables - just a plug ... unfortunatelly the radio I got from a salvage yard also turned out to be faulty, therefore another attempt next week, when I grab another one to try. th-cam.com/video/4Sy5b8bu7aA/w-d-xo.html

2015 forester 2.5i PREMIUM DOES NOT HAVE THESE SERVO CABLES RUNNING TO AC CONTROLS. JUST POP THE RADIO BEZEL OFF AS IT SHOULD BE AND HAS BEEN WITH CARS!
