Now get a mirror reflector pushing each of the individual laser beams down together into a single 1/8th beam, and another to re-parallel the 6 individual lasers. Buy about 10 of these wands, arrange in a circle, and do the same thing with those compounded lasers so that you have a 1/4 inch solid beam of however many watts. That would be my first mission. It would be super powerful, for sure.

Not really. A "real lightsabre" is a self-sustaining beam of light that can clash with other "real lightsabres" and cut through everything else in seconds. "Like a hot knife threw butter", but instantly and with greater destructive power, however, and it's already been mentioned, real light doesn't act like that. Real light does not "clash" with other light like metal against metal so scientifically a "real lightsabre" is impossible unless we can change the physics and properties of how light acts against other items and I don't see that happening, ever. Physics are consistent for a reason, we can't just change them whenever we feel like it.
This thing above is just a combo of lasers that needs to be focused to a specific point which takes a great deal of power, resources and time no doubt, it's also very limited if you're talking about a weapon as it can only focus on a very small point to burn any one thing and even that isn't instant as we can see, it still takes time, especially with thicker items.

That's mainly because light as no end, and waving around an endless light saber is... not a good idea.
Like Alex said, a plasma saber is probably possible, there's a guy who tries to achieve it, and has it actually planned, but the parts for it are pretty expensive.
To make something with acutally laser, we would need something that doesn't have a laser-tip, well, the tip would have to work of some kind of mirror to something.

Forget his fingers, what about his eyes? This thing is putting out 10.000 times more power than the highest level confirmed to be safe to have reach your eyes (i.e. if you're exposed to 5 mW for a long time and do suffer damage from it, you could still heal and be fine later on). Considering some of the highly reflective materials he shines it on in the video and how dangerous that was, he must've used glasses so dark he wouldn't be able to see his hands or the target object at all. Or maybe he used a digital camera + screen to see what he was doing?
The laser comes with all the essential gear including the safety glasses and I'm pretty sure it's not as dark as you make it out to be.

This was homemade, aside from the battery holder, he made it from a flashlight. This thing is pretty impressive, it puts out more W/surface area than anything Styropyro has except the ruby laser.
@LeBron James no, he put a link to a wicked lasers laser, which is way overpriced and they don't ship to the US even though they are IN the US. The laser in this video is not a production laser, he built it himself. I'm a machinist and I build lasers, I can spot a home job. He didn't even deburr the holes in his homemade heatsink. The lens cap he was using to focus was 3D printed. There was excess silicone sealant on the side switch of the flashlight handle he used to build the host. Homemade 100% and a good job too.
I know Styropyro builds his stuff too, he's one of my favorite TH-cam channels. Just saying the laser in this vid has more power density than Styropyro's lasers, not overall power. 50 watts focused down to a .025" circle is an insane amount of power, though Styropyro's ruby laser is technically more powerful.

Anything over 2 watts I wouldn’t even use indoors unless you have something to shine it on as a barrier that it can’t go through like a big rock or tile or something and of course with glasses on due to the brightness there will be and because of risk of starting a accidentally fire. Under two watts you can be okay as long as your careful and not holding it at the wall at one spot for any given amount of time and also if you have a barrier which don’t hurt. Under 2 watts you can technically be okay without glasses if your super careful and only shine it on dark things that are mostly black that absorb most of the light but it’s very risky, light colored objects will still be super bright and could cause long term damage overtime, and if you hit something reflective it’s over for your eyes. And ofcourse don’t even shine it and anything living or aircraft’s or other peoples houses as it could hurt someone and get you a felony. Just looking out for y’all.

There is no "civilian is allowed" issue with respect to POWER (at least none in the United States). Regulations do however, deal with how they are USED, and safety protocols, etc.
Anyone with a basic science education can pervert and turn just about
any civilian product into a weapon. Controlling "access" just is NOT
meaningfully effective when it comes to stopping people from doing stupid, crazy, or criminal things with technology.
One can purchase "over-the-counter" an industrial metal cutting LASER that is orders of magnitude more powerful than this one.
