@@michaelrodger So. I know it's been 5 months since you made this reply. However. Crystal refers specifically to the fractal structures that certain substances take the form of. A gemstone is a precious or semi-precious stone, usually already cut or polished in the form of jewlery. Crystals are natural (although you can make crystals by subjecting some rocks to the right conditions) and each type of stone has a different natural crystal shape, for example flourite-based stones tend to have cubic crystals though more complicated shapes do appear. A lot of gemstones can form crystals, and some crystals can be polished and turned into gemstones, however they are two different things :D (I hope the tone of this comment doesn't come across as too aggressive, I just wanted to inform you because rocks are cool)
@@Tagtot not aggressive at all thanks for he clarification. All I meant in saying that is they are cut and polished from structures like crystals as in that is the core substance of the mineral
Firehoof Why is it right? Every human life is extremely short if you put it in perspective with the age of something like the universe. Consider how quickly most people and their lives are completely forgotten and you soon realise the idea that you can "live on" through memories or actions is just non-theistic wish-fulfilment. Now it seems likely our sun will stop burning and then the universe will collapse in on itself in a Big Crunch, ending itself forever; if that is true, it'll be like the entire universe and everything within it never happened. He is just assuming that kindness and making the world "better" (that oh-so-subjective word) and actions that "live on after you" are meaningful when he has no reason to think so. He believes that just as unquestioningly as she believes in the existence of an afterlife yet only one of those unquestioned beliefs are portrayed negatively. TL:DR If you want to criticise people who unquestioningly believe things that's fine, but apply it to everyone equally.
MusketWalrus let's just be sceptical about every single thing on the earth...Due to this statement I'll tell you that his speech makes a lot of "subjective sense". Which means that being kind must be the thing that fulfills him, makes him FEEL valuable. So from this not so objective perspective his speech makes sense, and hers doesn't. Because, he's honest about what makes him go through life, even if it wouldn't satisfy everyone and it's not ACTUALLY meaningful. On the other hand SHE is driven by something that is clearly untrue... since... in oppose to kindness and sharing it through few generations, you cannot entirely prove the existence of car heaven. TL;DR What I'm saying is - he's right... he speaks for what makes him happy. He doesn't need to consider greater meaning to state his subjective way of dealing with life. And she's actually wrong since she just believes car heaven to be real.
_"Which means that being kind must be the thing that fulfills him, makes him FEEL valuable. So from this not so objective perspective _*_his speech makes sense, and hers doesn't."_* I think you've just contradicted yourself. If their beliefs are *objective* then one can be wrong and the other can be right. But if their beliefs are *subjective* then neither are wrong nor right, they are merely opinions. You seem to say they are both objective and subjective at once, which is impossible. If the beliefs are based on "subjective sense" as you put it, then he cannot be more correct than her any more than he could be if they preferred different flavours of ice-cream. You could just as easily switch what you say round: Believing in the supernatural and the afterlife is what fulfills HER and makes HER feel valuable. SHE is honest about what gets her through life, even if it doesn't satisfy everyone. On the contrary, HE is driven by something unprovable - you can't entirely prove the inherent worth of kindness or actions that echo down generations. If you truly think these beliefs are subjective then you should be fine with what I just said; after all, it's just a mirror of what you yourself wrote. If not, then its clear these people's beliefs are objective, and thus how a person's beliefs make them FEEL is irrelevant. What is important is whether they are TRUE or not. And in terms of making huge unprovable assumptions, both are equally guilty.
You're right I used the wrong way to describe it, I was referencing this quote : ''Why is it right? Every human life is extremely short if you put it in perspective with the age of something like the universe. Consider how quickly most people and their lives are completely forgotten and you soon realise the idea that you can "live on" through memories or actions is just non-theistic wish-fulfilment. Now it seems likely our sun will stop burning and then the universe will collapse in on itself in a Big Crunch, ending itself forever; if that is true, it'll be like the entire universe and everything within it never happened.'' I ment that his actions are towards an achievable goal, he doesn't consider the fact that our lifes are generally unimportant, and in his statement he doesn't have to do it for it to make sense. Why? Because he does this things to just help people, to leave something behind, he doesn't say that he want's to make a big difference, he doesn't say that it's the thing that makes everything meaningful, he just takes satisfaction in a short term goal. And that's right, when you listen to someone like this sad person, IT WON'T fix their lifes, but it will in fact relieve them from stress. It's... a way to leave something behind, leave a little smile on this small, unimportant person, leave some little subconsious thought on their mind that some people care to listen to them, it's a short term goal, that will change small things in some people's lifes... and therefore make world a better place... I mean.. a little bit better.... AND that's the thing he CAN achieve, and most likely does. So going by this way of thinking his idea is realistic, just... really short term, and not important on a greater scale. Meanwhile it's... pretty impossible to get a god's wish to get your brother out of car heaven, it's just not grounded (but boy do I wish that it was real) SO they are making assumptions, just one of them has a HUGE CHANCE to actually be right... on a VERY VERY VERY SMALL scale. :') (Btw I don't have his way of thinking and honestly I also grabbed my head when I heard that because I didn't think that it's by any means ''deep''. I just like to play a retarded devil's advocate, thank you for playing along, I love it when people think to prove a point)
The realest part of this whole thing is how stressed people get when they believe in all the outward things to help their situation when it isn't much easier to see it practically for what it is, but it's healthier
This is a great example of how to make two people talking work as a sketch. You always hear "show, don't tell" and I think in most cases that's true. But what makes this work is that there's actually an emotional story between the two characters that is interesting and that's why it's a good sketch.
Yes. Throw the rest of cast under the bus. This channel has been growing for over 10 years. The only thing Brennen could save the channel from is growth.
Could her brother not use his god wish to save the dog? And could Crystal Magic not bolster your immune system and provide clarity for it to see past the deceptive hormone defenses of the tumor?
I have a coworker that is literally identical to this, minus the sadness. Like, to give you an idea of just how crazy some of the stuff he believes is, he thinks that you can control your future by focusing, because concentrating your consciousness alters the future through, and I quote, "quantum harmonization." He refuses to eat any plant that isn't green, because apparently non-green plants are "weird" (no further explanations were given). He's perfectly fine eating the byproducts of these plants, such as corn-based products or peanut butter, but plain corn or peanuts is a no-go for him. As for religious beliefs, he doesn't believe in any religion, yet according to him he's not an atheist, but rather a "realist," which is different than an atheist because "he refuses to acknowledge religions as a real thing." He's also convinced that the post office snuck in a ton of fake ballots to "steal" the 2020 election in our state, despite the fact that we both work at the post office, specifically at the site that processes all letter mail for our state (including ballots). Like, we are literally the only point in the entire ballot process where all the ballots go through, we would be the only possible site that such a conspiracy could take place, and he literally watched the ballots come in and go out.

" crystal magic can't kill living things"
Thanos: hold my beer, I'm about to prove her wrong
Those are gems not crystals.
👀
@@gwamhurt hey friend, gemstones are crystals
The beer is half empty.
A lot of gemstones can form crystals, and some crystals can be polished and turned into gemstones, however they are two different things :D
(I hope the tone of this comment doesn't come across as too aggressive, I just wanted to inform you because rocks are cool)
@@Tagtot not aggressive at all thanks for he clarification. All I meant in saying that is they are cut and polished from structures like crystals as in that is the core substance of the mineral
Ok but Brennan's speech thing at the end is 100% right
Firehoof Why is it right?
TL;DR
What I'm saying is - he's right... he speaks for what makes him happy. He doesn't need to consider greater meaning to state his subjective way of dealing with life.
And she's actually wrong since she just believes car heaven to be real.
_"Which means that being kind must be the thing that fulfills him, makes him FEEL valuable. So from this not so objective perspective _*_his speech makes sense, and hers doesn't."_*
I think you've just contradicted yourself.
Now it seems likely our sun will stop burning and then the universe will collapse in on itself in a Big Crunch, ending itself forever; if that is true, it'll be like the entire universe and everything within it never happened.''
I ment that his actions are towards an achievable goal, he doesn't consider the fact that our lifes are generally unimportant, and in his statement he doesn't have to do it for it to make sense.
Meanwhile it's... pretty impossible to get a god's wish to get your brother out of car heaven, it's just not grounded (but boy do I wish that it was real)
SO they are making assumptions, just one of them has a HUGE CHANCE to actually be right... on a VERY VERY VERY SMALL scale. :')
(Btw I don't have his way of thinking and honestly I also grabbed my head when I heard that because I didn't think that it's by any means ''deep''. I just like to play a retarded devil's advocate, thank you for playing along, I love it when people think to prove a point)
Thank you
*naturally* , continue.
I swear brennan doesnt own another shirt
As a Catholic who just lost a beloved family member, this video both made me laugh but also provided comfort. Thank you, CH

Are they in human or car heaven
@@GayBastich They might have used their God Wish to turn them into a dog, thus sending them to dog heaven,

Ohhhh, whiskey stones! Just what I wanted...

4:05 ya what makes it darker? Sometimes it is easier to believe in all that other stuff, then to believe that you can make a difference in the world.
Can someone please make a list of Brennan’s amazing and smooth responses?
Brennan always looks like a Lego figurine
He’s so perfectly rectangular
You mean minifigure
Thank you

😂😂😂😂😂
I think this is the funniest college humour sketch so far 😂 The acting, that one vertigo effect, literally everything is hilarious
The realest part of this whole thing is how stressed people get when they believe in all the outward things to help their situation when it isn't much easier to see it practically for what it is, but it's healthier
So glad Brennan is a part of CH now. He’s fitting in great!
This is a great example of how to make two people talking work as a sketch. You always hear "show, don't tell" and I think in most cases that's true. But what makes this work is that there's actually an emotional story between the two characters that is interesting and that's why it's a good sketch.
Oh god, Brennan is me in every conversation with my mom.
Only Brennan could come up with these Zac-level sketches.
JAXmudge Brennan is Irish Zac
"Only a pedantic uncaring a nerd would choose this moment to..."
Way to be self aware man haha
Definitely an "I need to say this out loud to remind myself otherwise I'm going to explode into a shower of uncaring pedantry" moment.
0:29 Actually, I subscribe to the idea of dog-heaven being set in human-heaven; Their reward is life with their best friend ever.
Well, she does fly, so who are we to question her beliefs?
The stress that Brennan is under during this conversation is beautiful because it conveys how it feels to talk to “~spiritual~” people 😂
All of the humor involving brennan is completely revolved around him being a good person
I love Brennen so much he is gonna save this channel
Until he inevitably leaves one day like Zac
Shirshanya Roy so true though
Yes. Throw the rest of cast under the bus.
This channel has been growing for over 10 years. The only thing Brennen could save the channel from is growth.
How so? The average view count on videos has overall declined since the earlier days
jake and amir was most of chs views
Could her brother not use his god wish to save the dog? And could Crystal Magic not bolster your immune system and provide clarity for it to see past the deceptive hormone defenses of the tumor?
He doesn't get a god wish because he was relegated to car heaven, you only get a god wish if you get into real heaven
her brother died before all this so he didn't know.
As for religious beliefs, he doesn't believe in any religion, yet according to him he's not an atheist, but rather a "realist," which is different than an atheist because "he refuses to acknowledge religions as a real thing."
He's also convinced that the post office snuck in a ton of fake ballots to "steal" the 2020 election in our state, despite the fact that we both work at the post office, specifically at the site that processes all letter mail for our state (including ballots). Like, we are literally the only point in the entire ballot process where all the ballots go through, we would be the only possible site that such a conspiracy could take place, and he literally watched the ballots come in and go out.
"The ghost in my house died."
When's the funeral? Seems pretty selfish to not have a memorial.
Lucas Akame, I appreciate your concern in this time of sorrow. The service will be a private affair of close friends and family. I very much apologize for not inviting you but Rikke has made it very clear to make it a closed event. Again, thank you for your concern in this time of need.
And did it go to ghost heaven?
I_M Ali no that’s silly. Everyone knows when a ghost dies it’s reincarnated a dog using Crystal magic.
That ending was the purest family friendly thing ive ever seen
“The ghost in my house died”
A line so simple yet beautiful
I have to remember the line, I’m unfamiliar with your beliefs
Darkdjinn79 ♥♥♥I AGREE. THE ONLY THING IS, IT GOES BOTH WAYS. IN FACT, BOTH AMONG THEISTS AND ATHEISTS, THERE ARE THOSE WHO DO NOT SHOW LOGICAL REASONING AND COMMON SENSE BUT THERE ARE SOME WHO DO. A THEIST AND AN ATHEIST ARE BOTH LIKE HIGHLY ADVANCED VIDEOGAME NPC'S IN AN MMO RPG. THE OTHER ONE BELIEVES THAT THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A LEAD VIDEOGAME DEVELOPER WHILE THE OTHER ONE BELIEVES THAT THERE IS SUCH THING AS A LEAD VIDEOGAME DEVELOPER BUT HE OR SHE JUST DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO COMMUNICATE WITH THAT LEAD VIDEOGAME DEVELOPER AND DOES NOT KNOW ANY WAY TO PROVE IT TO THE OTHER VIDEOGAME NPC'S.♥♥♥

Me, having suppressed my giant crush on him for the whole video until now: OKAY that's it. This man is PERFECTION and no one can tell me otherwise.
Swing and a miss!
That's what doesn't happen when Brennan is in a sketch.
Jeez, should have offered your God wish to send her dog to people heaven, you're so selfish.
Jelloz104 why not just use your god wish to make Halloween last more than once a year🤷♂️
You don't get your God wish till you're dead, why waste my God wish on the living?
Wouldn't the dog get a god wish when it goes to people heaven?
It does but dogs are notorious for being wild cards. :/
Jelloz104 To heck with that! Use your God wish to go to dog heaven
Actually what Brennan said at the end is a perfect way of living your life. Choosing kindness is the best kind of strength.
But what if you hit a dog with your car, what then?
maybe like a venn diagram middle of car and dog heaven... maybe I'm looking too much into this.
You get a shovel.
But if a human gets hit by a car they go to car heaven so wouldn’t it be the same?
By the videos logic the dog would go to car heaven, anything that dies on the road will
