Hey Matt! I just purchased a Gillette Bulldog along with a Gem Junior, Super 109, Gillette Tech, and a Gem Micromatic for just $64.88 + shipping!!!! The Bulldog is crack free with that perfect patina!!! I dont think the seller realized what he was selling! Its definitely one I will treasure! Thanks for all the archive series!! JimG
Hey Matt! I struck again with a find from an antique store! I found another Gillette Bulldog razor with the case and blade holders!! It is in better shape than the one I purchased off ebay awhile back! It is fantastic shape! Not a single crack, not one bent tooth, and gorgeous patina! This one could easily for $300+ !! Best of all, I only paid $57 for it!!! Definitely the right time, right place!! As always, thanks for these archive series videos!! JimG
Wonderful video? I have one of the officers kits I bought many years ago in the early days of the internet, but now realize the razor is not the bulldog, so I will be on the hunt. It also doesn’t have the mirror. The khaki case, tubes, brush, razor cases are in great shape. The original soap in the paper wrapper is in the tube and there are a bunch of razors wrapped. So razor and mirror should complete the set.
Amazing looking kits. Easy to see why people thought the khaki set was military issue. Thanks for another informative and interesting look into history 😀
Fantastic series you are doing! My little case is a bit different than the example you showed. Instead of an 'antiqued' look, mine is smooth grain cowhide.
So, I have a few questions. I have several vintage gillettes. 1. The good will. 2. Fat boy. 3. Black tip. 4. Black beauty. Do I want to I want to restore them? Where would I go to have them restored? How much would it cost? I do use them every now and then. How do I go about getting them looked at? I don't want to try to do the restoration myself, because I don't want to mess anything up. Any advice would be great!
Ed James I’ve personally sorted and organized the gillette collection for P&G - I’m sad yet honored to say we have more. But they have things we could only dream of having like prototypes and uncirculated items.
RazorEmporium I knew you did some work for P&G and that is why I asked. One of these days I'll make it to Phoenix and your store. Would love to see you and your collection.

Really a public service you are doing for this amateur collector. Is the Big Fellow next?
Jeff Rydman chronological order :) every gillette razor.
Jeff Rydman don't get too froggy!
We have two more that were also released in/around 1914. Vest Pocket and Aristocrat. Then onto the Big Fellow!
