It's great to see a Bulldog in action. I'm not surprised to see it give a close shave, but I AM surprised to hear Matt rank the balm up there with the Proraso white! I love the anti-irritation balm, too, so now I'm definitely going to have to try the Fine Platinum balm.
Good morning Matt! Love the look of that Gillette razor. I find the heads on those old Gillette razors give a great close shave. Easy does it with an Old Type is always good advice. I am really keen on the Fine Accouterments products. Thank you for this product introduction.
Really nice looking razor, and looks like I have a few more items to look into. I currently have and love the Fine Platinum AS, but that balm looks like an upcoming purchase and possibly the soap as well.
Matt: can you do a Wilkinson bonded blade? -- I had one in the early '70s -- first cartridge, and the only single-blade one -- liked it a lot -- shave was similar to an injector
