He’s sober now so this is the real him! I used to take lots of pills when I was 18-21 and I was a piece of shit back then. Did stuff I don’t even remember doing. Geno seems like a really decent man. Sobriety can bring out the best in people. He’s not even being negative that he could go to jail which shows he knows he did wrong accepts it and is willing to face the consequences
My oldest son is in his early 20's and he has type 1 diabetes. They took his blood and it was 600. What I do not understand is how he could have gotten it, since no one in the family has it. But he is winning the battle now. This is good stuff.
Why is Gino the only one who is rational in this situation? It’s a good thing she’s living with her sister.

She needs to develop healthier coping mechanisms. That’s not coming from a mean place… plus they talk about health on the show… like in this clip. And the show started off as June’s weight loss, hence, “From Not to Hot.”

I'm diabetic type 2 and i used to weigh 337 lbs and now i'm around 250 lbs. My doctor told me that i have lose weight when i was 337 lbs and i don't use sugar, he said that if i don't start losing weight my diabetes could get worse. I go for walks, i drink water and i eat green veggies. Even my stomach tells me when to stop eating whenever i get full from dinner and i listen to it.
I Kno everyone says Geno got June on drugs but I really think it's the other way around

@@itstina5645 Sadly it's the truth. It runs in my family. My Aunt passed away due to diabetes complications. I love eating, but my love for eating doesn't love my health. Sometimes I just let loose like Mama June and Honey Boo Boo just did, and I worry about the repercussions later. Keeping one's weight down is no joke, especially when you have to do it for health reasons.

My aunt had diabetes and she passed away in January due to other health problems as well as diabetes. My aunt didn't have weight issues or anything. But I do think that Alana needs to eat healthy.

My mom is a diabetic amputee, lost a leg, kidney issues and everything from diabetes.
