There's a program called this is your life....I which they honor people...they honored the Beegees and on that program they had people that are important to the honorees...the Beegees parents and family were on there and their mother recalls when Barry was 6 and Maurice and Robin were 3. ..she heard singing coming from their room and she went and peeked into their room and saw the 3 of them sitting on the bed singing without music in perfect harmony. That's how young they were when they started singing in perfect harmony.
They are famous for talking about how much they loved to find places with an echo to sing when they were young, I am sure they had an echo for this, and NO, they can lay down the singing separately. And yes, they always wear head phones. Just some videos of then recording. Maurice has the high part, Robin is in the middle and Barry is the lower register.
Gosh, Chad, your face just told the entire world what an amazing trio our precious guys were! Mesmerizing is all I can say. This is one of my very favorite songs that shows off Robin's beautiful voice. Then Barry and Mo blend in so well with that harmony, pure magic and to do it acapella amazing.❣❣
I love it.It does sound like they have stood somewhere, that lets the sound be contained, and not drift away. Especially where they break, and start again, with cry, cry, cry, etc. They really make you listen, don’t they?
I think they had a staircase they loved to hear themselves before they finished writing or practice in. You sure can hear how Maurice filled in the spaces. I saw them on some show and they sang acapella and the face on the interviewer was totally in disbelief and delighted.
That's the magic and wonder and gift of the Beegees...perfect and I mean perfect harmony.....talented in songwriting, musical instruments, singing ....even without music and much more.....but THEY'RE THE BEEGEES.....NO OTHER GROUP CAN COMPARE THEN OR NOW. PERFECT HARMONY. Thanks Chad for the reaction and playing my request. I haven't able to request a song for a while.

Oh it 's amazing hamonizes amazing sound and amazing song, I really love their talent ... only beautiful sound no need music.Thank you for your reaction, Chad..Great work
Natural Talent for sure! They didn't need musical instruments or direction from others to make their own perfect harmonies. There have been many interviews that share how the boys were singing in perfect harmony when they were 5 and 8. Their mother thought she was hearing the radio and their grandfather said "No, it's the boys." They were sitting on the bed singing in perfect 3 part harmony - no training, no directing. During their performances you can see how they watch each other closely & just know when to come in. That's natural giftedness and can't be taught.
I had listened a little piece of “To Love Somebody” a cappella in a TV show, but I have never listened a whole song. It is AMAZING!!! Love it. Thank you CHAD
Your reaction is great it tells all of us how much you love the Beegees and how great you think they are. We lost the group with the passing of Maurice and Robin and Andy.....but we still have Barry...which I'm glad....but I really miss the whole group which is the Beegees.
The Bee Gees' driving force - their Dad's dream to have his own popular "big band"). Radio, their Dad's records - Barry took on the dream as a little boy, later bringing the twins along with him. "We're going to be famous," he told them. Why did they go on until death (except Barry)? To keep being famous! Break records, win awards, to be the best - all for their dad's dream in their heads. So with all that practice, imtation, experimenting...... you get this beautiful pure a capella sound!
OMG! Robin sounds sensational 🎶 Stunning 🎶 There will never be another group like the Bee Gees they all had superb voices, never get tired of listening to them 👏🤩🏴
My favorite BeeGees song just got better if that's even possible. Thanks Chad. I saw them do Massachusetts once like this. They just broke into song when asked. They were amazing. No headphones just them.
They did that lots of times during interviews and it was always flawless. Even Massachusetts on Carson when Mo was goofing around and yet he never threw Robin off.
@@Zlata1313 - Robin seemed to have built an impenetrable wall and when he was in the zone even Mo couldn't knock it down. I think Robin was used to Mo goofing around. Just took it in his stride although I have seen footage of Rob giving back to Mo as good as he got. Gee I miss those two. Can't imagine how Barry copes with it.
❤ They are excellent at a-cappella , however I think this is an isolated vocal track. It just sounds exactly like the vocals on the full recording to me . Brilliant either way . They most likely were all three sharing a mic and though I can’t say how they got the tunnel sound, they did practice singing in stairwells and bathrooms, etc. when they were young. Forever my favorites ❤
Unfortunately we don't have the real vocals separate from this song. We don't have a Master Tape, but this job is good and is possible listen the GENIUS. I love this song.

Your second guess was the correct one, Chad. This is the actual recording of "Mr. Natural" with only the vocal track extrapolated. I've heard several Bee Gee's songs done this way and it's pretty breathtaking the first time you hear it! There's a YT site where a vocal coach does this on nearly every video to songs with just a couple flips of some switchs; it's amazing. It's also quite interesting to only hear their wonderful voices - including that "fourth voice" when Barry and Robin sang in unison! (BTW, there are true acapella performances on video, especially when they did interview shows...)😊
You are correct Diane. One of the youtube reactors is Fil on his site, Wings of Pegasus. He compares the isolated vocals to the so called perfection of autotune. Like me he has a real issue with so called singers, especially the younger generations, using this blatant fraud in order to 'perfect' their sound. Record producers are of course complicit in this as well. Thank heavens I grew up in a world where singers could actually sing both on record and live. The great Bee Gees are a testament to this and along with Abba must surely be considered two of the greatest groups of all time, My opinion of course. Cheers.

Surprise to me, so I never heard it before that way. And that to a die-hard fan, which missed nearly nothing about them. That's one of the reasons, I'm loving your channel, Chad. So far I can hear, Robin and Barry were doubletracking on parts of verse 1 and 2, singing second voice to themselve. On the chorusses, the high pitched voice is Maurice. Not falsetto, so his normal range was able to reach notes from bass up to the high C. Some weeks ago, I found 'Staying Alive', raw track with isolated voices but also every instruments, which were used. Greatest surprise there to me was the acoustic-rythm-guitar track, played by Barry. Not to forget Maurice's bass-lines, which are sensitive without a doubt. Again, bros. Gibb are real genius and on their own level.
@@susieq9801 A very delicious beacon, Q! Also to hear that way for excample on 'I've Gotta Get A Message To You', thinking of Chad at the end of his reaction.
Chad, you don't understand, but this is the Gibb brothers. They don't need music to tell when to come in. Those brothers had extraordinary God-given talent that the world hasn't seen since. I simply can't go pass them, and I know there is great talent out there. I do appreciate that, but the BeeGees tops them all for me, including the Beatles.
It sounds like someone used ProTools or something to isolate the vocals from the original recording, so the quality is not what you would hear from the original vocal take, but still a great listen. The harmonies on "Happy Mannnnnnnnnn" at the 3 minute mark of the song maybe the best vocals they ever laid down.
Wow, Chad! I had to listen to this one more than once! Haven’t experienced this song in a cappella before!… And I thought I had listened to everything Bee Gees! Incredible! But then, our Bee Gees are just that - Incredible! Mo really did anchor them with that perfect third harmony. He was the magic man as well as the middle man in so many ways. You can expect perfection out of Barry and Robin and you will always get it, but Ol’ Mo was a genus as well. Your reaction says it all! Another great one, Chad! Thank you for this one! More, please. 🥰
I agree with others that this is the record with isolated vocals stripped out but still great. There are some great live vocals out there with just singing or acoustic guitars only when they have been on chat shows. Parkinson Show 1982 has lots of these including Massachusetts and Silent Night and the Des O'Connor show with How Deep is Your Love (they were on that show twice and the earlier one is best) . Sorry I don't know how to do links on my phone.
Their full hour appearance in Geraldo in 97 had them pick up their guitars and sing bits of songs on the spot. Great as always, plus a great interview. Geraldo was a big fan. th-cam.com/video/zmMfD2Qizc4/w-d-xo.html
Their voices are the instrument. Absolutely astounded, listening to them acapella makes me love them more!! Lovin your reaction to this 8th wonder of the world 😍❤

IMO Mo was always the classy styler, but yes they were all immaculately dressed and the hairs were on point then. ❤️😍 Love this thanks Chad and to the person who made the request 🤗.
It is def a recording with everything gone but the vocals. I’ve heard in numerous interviews that they loved the echo and would often create their music with an echo either in a hallway or some other means. It helped them hear each other to keep those tight harmonies so they grew to prefer echo in the actual recordings. They are incomparable.
Such a great example of their harmonies and innate ability. One of the greatest writers/singers of all time. Just love them. Great choice for a reaction, Chad. thank you!
Wow this sounds amazing even better with out music you can really hear their Voices this just makes me miss those amazing brothers even more .. your reaction was great thanks Chad x
They have done many of their songs acapella on TV interviews etc. this may be as you say, but they can do this with their music, many interviewers ask them for a song and they have no instruments and they bring it! Robin does like to shock…in many ways.😎
Janet, you're so right. Our Robin was so hot in that yellow suit! That was one of his favorite colors. He wore it quite well. Of course everything he dressed in made him look hot!
Hey Janet, I just finished breakfast. Not in gear yet. Haven't even had my tea! Yes, Robin looked great in yellow, like a bee, a HONEY BEE, and he was pretty spiffy in baby blue too....but those green pants 😳😳I have to agree with Barry.
What a beautiful surprise Chad! see a reaction to a song with their vocals stripped bare, stripped of all instruments and production and that song is none other than... Mr Natural! the most underrated in the Bee Gees catalog, and at the same time My Favorite hear these voices in their crystal-clear state, with Robin's solo lead in the first part and Barry's in the second, and the tremendous growth in the fantastic backing vocals, with all three brothers coming in and out, alternately leading or backing up. , is simply a masterpiece of vocalization Another song that would be very interesting to hear in their isolated voices, due to their richness and complexity, is: Fanny (be tender with my love) Without a doubt, and I agree with you, Bee Gees are the Kings of vocal harmonies Only comparable to... the Queens of vocal harmonies: Agnetha and Frida from ABBA, with their soprano and mezzo soprano voices If you want to make a reaction for your special Fridays, I leave you this special video: ABBA recording their mega hit "Dancing Queen" with the isolated voices of Agnetha and Frida: th-cam.com/video/gCS-qkmha5Y/w-d-xo.html or if you want to do a traditional reaction, don't forget to consider "Chiquitita" at United Nations, when ABBA was just invited by... the Bee Gees! ... to participate in the Concert for UNICEF on January 9, 1979 th-cam.com/video/oMIw_y9uRT8/w-d-xo.html (the link included an intro with all artists invited performing a chorus) At that time Bee Gees were leading in the U.S. and ABBA leading in Europe eg in 1978 at the same time they were #1 "Staying Alive" in US Billboard and "Take a chance on me" in UK official charts A big greeting with all affection from Buenos Aires, Argentina

There's a video of them doing this that is in a black and white. It's awesome that just shows their heads from the side and you can see who's singing. It's awesome. I don't know how to send it to you. I'm sure you'll find if you you tube this song live. You'll love it.
*Mr Natural is impossible to find on any of the compilations* - not even the 2 CD and not even the 4 CD sets. The reason is that this was an old school 60s-style Bee Gees song that was released too late - in 1974. I LOVE this song - but do you know it bombed on the charts, an absolute disaster... the music market had moved on from this to bouncier tracks that broke old rules about vocals being most of the song and backing music and 'the beat' just supporting the harmonies. And the result was that Mr Natural didn't even get into the top 40... not anywhere in the world. Crazy, huh? 50 years later and I still hum this tune! It's a fair bet that a couple of years earlier and it would have charted. And by the way, they really tried to kick start this track onto the charts with live appearances on big TV shows - but to no avail. *The Mr Natural album was a wake up call for this super group...* and they went back to the drawing board and re-invented their sound for the 1970s. Their new sound was more electrified, bassier, more danceable. So we got the 2nd wave of the Bee Gees with massive hits like Jive Talkin and Nights On Broadway, and then the soundtrack for Saturday Night Fever. And Bee Gees 2.0 was maybe even bigger than Bee Gees 1.0!
This is really new for me, outstanding!! I can understand why you're mind is blown. That sound you mentioned like a tunnel, I guess, because it's not entirely acapella but a musical trick isolating the music, so that could be the echo (someone correct me please if I am wrong), anyway it's awesome to hear only their beautiful voices. Now that you are trying acapella songs, there are other also wonderful and worth to listening to, and I think all with same trick but always very well done. So far I have listen to Jive Talking, How Deep is Your Love, Nights On Broadway, Stayin' Alive, those two last are awesome. I will look for the links to send you, I have all those songs but on my laptop, now I will include this one for sure. PS That photo was taken during an award ceremony in Canada, if I'm not mistaken
@@susieq9801 Of course I agree, and all their performances in any interview singing right there when were asked to sing something was simply perfect, entirely acapella. But here you can also distinguish better who is singing which part in the original recording, not happening in interviews, kind of different.
No instruments required when they have voices like that. Sheer raw talent. The beauty of this is so moving. Absolutely gorgeous.

I’ve heard in numerous interviews that they loved the echo and would often create their music with an echo either in a hallway or some other means. It helped them hear each other to keep those tight harmonies so they grew to prefer echo in the actual recordings. They are incomparable.
These guys could sound good singing in a bucket. Their voices are amazing even without music. Good one Chad.
Só os Bee Gees fazem uma capela tão maravilhosa! E voz de Robin, é espetacular! Amo! ❤❤❤❤👋👋👋👋👋👋👍👍👍🇧🇷🇧🇷
One of my favorite songs!
Wauv 🤯 what a trio 🤯❤❤❤
Such a great example of their harmonies and innate ability. One of the greatest writers/singers of all time. Just love them. Great choice for a reaction, Chad. thank you!
I love that picture too! Barry. Sigh.
Dam,. 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Insuperables 🟢💙💗💙🟢
Wow this sounds amazing even better with out music you can really hear their Voices this just makes me miss those amazing brothers even more .. your reaction was great thanks Chad x
Bee Gees os maiores q já vi
Yes Chad, kind, generous words and loyalty to you with your vocation work
I'm not going anywhere, don't worry, I'm here with you and your Bee Gees!
They were so good they did alot of their songs Acapella. Try watching some interviews. They're in the studio
They have done many of their songs acapella on TV interviews etc. this may be as you say, but they can do this with their music, many interviewers ask them for a song and they have no instruments and they bring it! Robin does like to shock…in many ways.😎
Love this!!! Love me a daily dose of the BeeGees ❤❤❤
Wow, what a fantastic song! Great reaction, Chad! Love this acapella version of the song!
Lol@ the fashion commentary Chad. Only Robin could look that 🔥 in a yellow suit.😏 where my other Robin girls at? Q? J2? Laurie?
Janet, you're so right. Our Robin was so hot in that yellow suit! That was one of his favorite colors. He wore it quite well. Of course everything he dressed in made him look hot!
@@lauriebarnes2999 the blue jackets, those green jeans? The red hair!😉
@@Zlata1313 - Loved the red hair!!! As I said before, I'm glad he never owned a Dalmation.
@@susieq9801 I'm gonna keep loving those green jeans lol
Instruments or not. THE BEST. U are so funny.
What a beautiful surprise Chad!
see a reaction to a song with their vocals stripped bare, stripped of all instruments and production
and that song is none other than...
Mr Natural!
the most underrated in the Bee Gees catalog, and at the same time My Favorite
hear these voices in their crystal-clear state, with Robin's solo lead in the first part and Barry's in the second, and the tremendous growth in the fantastic backing vocals, with all three brothers coming in and out, alternately leading or backing up. , is simply a masterpiece of vocalization
Another song that would be very interesting to hear in their isolated voices, due to their richness and complexity, is:
Fanny (be tender with my love)
Without a doubt, and I agree with you,
Bee Gees are the Kings of vocal harmonies
Only comparable to...
the Queens of vocal harmonies:
Agnetha and Frida from ABBA, with their soprano and mezzo soprano voices
If you want to make a reaction for your special Fridays, I leave you this special video:
ABBA recording their mega hit "Dancing Queen" with the isolated voices of Agnetha and Frida:

or if you want to do a traditional reaction, don't forget to consider
"Chiquitita" at United Nations, when ABBA was just invited by... the Bee Gees! ... to participate in the Concert for UNICEF on January 9, 1979
th-cam.com/video/oMIw_y9uRT8/w-d-xo.html
(the link included an intro with all artists invited performing a chorus)
At that time Bee Gees were leading in the U.S. and ABBA leading in Europe
eg in 1978 at the same time they were #1 "Staying Alive" in US Billboard and "Take a chance on me" in UK official charts
A big greeting with all affection from
Buenos Aires, Argentina
That UNICEF concert was terrific.

There's a video of them doing this that is in a black and white. It's awesome that just shows their heads from the side and you can see who's singing. It's awesome. I don't know how to send it to you. I'm sure you'll find if you you tube this song live. You'll love it.
Incredible!!!!
They wrote the music so the tempo is in their heads.
That was great Chad! Love it 💕👍
*Mr Natural is impossible to find on any of the compilations* - not even the 2 CD and not even the 4 CD sets.
I think separating out the voices digitally causes a little bit of distortion. It would be even more amazing to hear them "naturally" without that.
@@susieq9801 Of course I agree, and all their performances in any interview singing right there when were asked to sing something was simply perfect, entirely acapella. But here you can also distinguish better who is singing which part in the original recording, not happening in interviews, kind of different.
Hi Chad. No es Capella. Es la canción quitadas las pistas de los instrumentos. Pero sin duda hace que se pueda apreciar mejor las voces de los tres
They wrote all their music first, then added the music, backwards, yea but it work for them! 🥰 This could have been before they added the music 🥰
Other dimension !
3:43
That’s either A:
The music bleeding from their headphones
Or B:
They took the vocals from the song by using an app
Dayummm!😊😊
