‘24 Sonata N-Line for me! Also, the ‘24 Sonatas have rear seat seatbelt pretensioners and force limiters, so much safer in the back seat than the K5.
I’m disappointed we didn’t get the full digital dash on the 2024 refresh K5, just like in other markets. With that being said, I will pick the new refresh 2024 Sonata. The styling is more modern and futuristic with better technology.

My cosuin got a k5 gt and it changed my mind about getting a bmw 330i. It has everything, all the bells and whistles and power that the 330i has at half the price. Ill be getting a k5 gt soon.

I bought my first car as a Kia K5 LXS back in october. I love this thing to death and I don't regret it. Kinda sad I couldn't go for the GT as it was out of my budget (and every single one I saw at a dealership had the red interior). I really hope Kia keeps making them, I can't imagine switching lol

I chose the K5 GT over the Sonata N Line because of the analog gauges and floor shifter because I think it’s sportier. I also added the GT1 package which gives you features that aren’t even available on the Sonata N Line…

I’m in love with my KIA K5 GT Line I have no complaints, well maybe in sport mode, it’s a lot of fun!
I opted to wait for the “refreshed” 2025 K5 GT to arrive. Hopefully it will be here in late spring rather than late summer. I’m looking forward to your review when they start arriving at local dealerships…
I will buy a new 2024 Kia K5 sedan any day.
Do yourself a favor and get an insurance quote BEFORE you buy any kia/hyundai product. Especially if you live in a big city w/o a garage.

Damn, you guys must be reading my mind when you made this video. I’m very tempted to pick up a wolfs grey 2024 K5 N line AWD but I’m holding out for the Sonata because I prefer the 2.5L engine over the turbo 1.6 in the K5.
K5 GT has the 2.5L 290hp 301 torque
@@gunns7720 but no AWD. The Sonata will be offing an NA 2.5L with AWD.
The NA 2.5 is gutless. I prefer the 1.6 turbo offered in the k5 if you want awd. Hyundai tech here

Good video. The better and more fair comparison to the 2024 Sonata, will be the 2025 K5, as it is expected to be refreshed for that model year.
In general this KIA K5 is better than new Honda Accord and cheaper.

It's easy to see that kia sells more K5s down here in south florida then their cousin the hyundai sonata..but what is this color thing..most are grey or white..but mostly grey

Cadillac still hasn't sent us one and we still haven't been able to get one at the local dealership... stay tuned, it'll come eventually
4th and I would want to see the sonata first
It's crazy how much is lost between the EX and the GT Line. On the EX I have heated/cooled seats, and all those blank spots around the shifter on this model have different functions on the EX. I test drove both of them and settled on the EX because although they handled the same the EX scored so much higher on the "creature comforts" scale for me. Just a more comfortable car.
They ordered my 2025 K5 GT yesterday. My birthday is June 9th so I’m hoping it comes by then…
Hi, Masan and drew this as an extremely nice-looking car Kia K5 gt line trim aggressive front design and a smoke chrome glittering grille abruptly fix the Kia logo in the centre I think the 30 thousand price point is legitimate because the interior is so spacious, and especially the full moonroof t shape with the traditional shifter looks awesome big cargo space 1.6 l turbo inline four-cylinder making 180 hp and 195 pound-feet of torque front wheel drive you the option for an all-wheel drive if you go to get two and a half litter 298 hp and 311 pound-feet of torque fantastic car thanks.

K5 was always the name in Korea - it was called Optima in the US.
When oh when is Kia/Hyundai going to fix their larger infotainment display/system to work with Apple CarPlay and Android Automotive wirelessly??
The new Sonata is supposed to be the first model with wireless across on their new infortainment system

Bought a 24 sonata sel awd and it has wireless Android auto which was nice surprise because I didn't expect it to be a standard feature on it.

Camry! I’m in the market, also. Camry isn’t the most attractive option, in my opinion, but I trust its powertrain and reliability, in general, compared to the other options in this segment.

Have a 2022 Accord 2.0 Touring, better than all these. Great fuel mileage, comfortable, spacious, classy and quite quick. Shame Honda no longer offers this motor in the latest Accord. A mistake.

Why a 2016 accord? These will destroy it in every way, and don’t come with the reliability crap because these sonatas and k5s of this gen have been reliable.
The next generation Toyota will cream Sonata and Kia. The problem Korean cars have is that they use so many cheap materials in the car cabins. It makes the cars feel cheap !
