Seeing TSLA up today was a nice break from all the red, but what made it even nicer was knowing that we were able to take advantage of those red days (like your dad) and buy more shares. There are so many things on the horizon for Tesla that could help us to blow past $300, but we also have the MACRO keeping my excitement in check. It's going to be a very interesting for what remains of this year, that's for sure. Looks like your vacation ended just in time.

Glad to hear your dad accumulating positions!! I really think we can hit new highs either end of the year or next year. I’m guessing the $25k car reveal should do it. That is a massive game changer and would be one of the few things that could justify a $400+ price. The other would be if they roll out a completed FSD. Either one would push Tesla to new highs.

2026 is the year we will see all the good things happening, such as the fulling ramp of Cyber Truck, Semi, new Model 3 and Y, the 2 Mega factories, and we may even see robots start selling.
Once we get past Jackson Hole and then FOMC in sept then I think we retest the top of that bullish channel we are in. If it drops on either event, that would be a buying opportunity. Anything near $220 is a buy. Should see $400ish in Oct/early Nov. Especially if they finally announce the Cybertruck/Highland delivery event sometime in Sept/Oct

I wonder if the slow 4680 ramp is more because that factory exists to put price pressure on their main suppliers. Also as the US appears to be over gearing for battery production that will take care of the home market (probably at higher prices) while Tesla continues with CATL etc as that is the better option. So you keep the factory at a low volume and fund it.

Hey Lee, hope you enjoyed your time off homie. Market has def been pretty wild lately. Scooped a couple shares at 215 on friday, was surprised it went so low tbh. Keep an eye on the debt market tho, that drives the whole kitten kabootal. If the debt market collapses here in the next year, Tesla could prolly revisit 150 or lower.
Losing $200 billion market cap is quite worrying to me 😢

I really think $275 is the price right now +-$15 this recent low just a macro blip and the recent 300 high also a blip. There's nothing ahead to change this. Cybertruck likely to harm the price due to low slow production and losses in first 2 years only extreem volumes and compact can seriously improve orices

Might want to wait until after the FED meeting at the end of the week if your worried about a possible negative catalyst.
Also if NVDA has a weak earnings it could also tank the tech stocks.

Just an unimportant pronunciation question, but why say "Tesler" still? There are countless examples of the correct pronunciation of "Tesla" to learn from? Why still go with the incorrect way?
I had a co-worker named "Tara" and she pronounced it like you would say "Terra" but One of our other coworkers for years called her "Tar-uh" like the black sticky substance "Tar" and it always drove me nuts that he refused to say it correctly even though we were all constantly saying it for him to learn from.

Putz buckets. My take - is that he would have to sell periodically for tax reasons, and any resulting drop in the stock price would be quite temporary, (as before, when he sold) contrary to what Lee sort of indicated here today.
