What about next a mix between night terror bird and owl+swiftlet/oilbird?
Or with base on dinosaur shapes, oligocene mammals+monotrem+marsupial-+synapsid mix..

Yeah so relieved that it worked well, if not I might’ve never used the stuff again. Crazy how the volume makes such a huge difference. I didn’t do anything else different apart from pouring less this time. Live and learn.

I don't know why but Giant Djogarri I feel like fits , it also implies that there is a regular sized Djogarri so if you want to make a smaller bird then you already have a name for it 😊

Ha, just watched your Ohm video and was surprised to hear you say that Nausicaa is your favorite Ghibli film, too. I feel like that one gets a bit overlooked, but it's the one I keep going back to. Something about that world is very intriguing.

This is so creative!! I love the concept of robots and animals living together and benefiting from each other as there aren’t many humans left to take care of them. I think a build that would reflect this concept really well would be an old robot who is the guardian of a forest and takes care of all the animals.

Very cool project! I’m sure if Adam from North of the Border saw this he wouldn’t just say it’s good, he’d probably say “it’s good enough”. You did amazingly with your first time of clay as well!

I think you picked a nice color pallet for the bird as it blends well with the water and makes it seem more natural. You can even integrate that into the lore (if you haven't already) with the bird being indigenous to wetlands and floodplains. And if it is used as a transportation method/pack animal, you can call it something like a "Water Mule Fowl" or something like that.

Again a beautiful creation. It's really refreshing, admitting your mistakes when painting. I often see other people coat: prime, brown, black, brown again, yellow, no brown again, maybe grey ?,...... As if that was the plan from the start :| Painting is often searching for the right color composition. Especially when its in a imaginary realm.Never cover that up :) Its the end result that lasts, not the way you got there!

An amazing flightleas bird that receoves its nutrition directly from the planet's nitrogen-dense atmosphere, the Mhoa-kka is truly a wondrous creation of the Phanu-ra deities.

You said you’re open to critique so here’s mine: the bird should have had more of a keel in its chest for the lessened wing muscles to be anchored to. It just seems too much like a fish/worm in the chest, and the rump should have been more round and fluffy/fuzzy. And legs could have used more meat on the thighs. Other than that, things that my experience of caring for chickens for over a decade taught me, it looks great. I’ve been enjoying binging this.

Yep absolutely right. I should’ve done more referencing of actual bird anatomy before sculpting, I was kind of going off the cuff for this!

    You were actually pretty accurate
There was a flightless bird called
"Gastornis" six foot tall and several hundred pounds in weight with a head the size of a horses even the beak is close
