Hmmm. The stock antennas are easily capable of 6km (many have flown 10km+) in FCC mode. You'll likely see better performance if using the DJI stock VTX antenna (dual band linearly polarised) than using LHCP antennas on the VTX side, as you appear to be doing. SMA connectors also create insertion loss.
@@earthsgrip yeah depends on how high gain the antenna are and if it's offset by bad adapters, I've got an antenna vna and have wanted to get some adapters to see what the reflected loss is and compare it to the antenna gain, I'll have to get on that... @@ugpfpv361 I appreciate you might run a 10dBi antenna on the ground side, but on the air side? Dustin Dunnill did a video of using LTE network to fly in his Parrot
@@rubengarciajr7560 yeah that was a while ago, with something like a wing I can see but for a drone doing something like driving mountains or flying closer to the ground, the latency is not low enough, pretty cool though
DJI RC is the biggest dogshit I've ever seen. Just use crsf its a bit more expensive but so much better. Also any crsf or elrs radio can do 1000% of what the dji rc can.
where is you donate button?
Spoiler alert: he dumped Frsky, and installed Crossfire
Fucking love your content man! ✌🏻
At least here in the usa it's pronounced Heelical... And where is the 6km?
It's pronounced "he-lick-al" it's the geometry of the antenna
🇮🇩 Indonesian 🔥🔥🔥
hell-i-cal 🤣
old skool helicals
Should have got the 6 turns
Emph"a"sis on the wrong syll"a"ble
Helical's? Thought everyone knew this ya pretty old hack at this point really. Nice job though
You were at 3.4 volts and 4.2 km u must be on lithium ion packs
Yes that's what he said in the video
They are sold out
Truerc x -air 20km easily with o3
I bought the Yagi Antennas Signal Booster but I haven’t try them. Have anybody used them?
You mean yagi antennas?
@@ugpfpv361 ummm, yes, that is exactly what I wrote...
6km out is no problem with stock DJI. These antenna will be better for like 10km or more
He showed at around 2.6 with stock he was getting orange signal display
@@mrantssfpv yeah, but a lot of us are already going 2 to 4 times as far on the stock o3 setup (on drone and goggles). DJI already did a great job with their antenna design, idk if any of us are going to improve on that using trial and error tests. The flyfishrc long o3 IS better, but it's exactly like the stock just longer.
ORT 6 turn is better
And a 12 turn is better than a 6 turn ...
This gave me anxiety.
Still using that garbage controller? And my dude OSD for these reviews. We don't care about how good the gopro looks. Lets see how the bitrate behaves. The relevant data is bitrate at same distance. They perform well though.
Antman😂
