I just got to queen bee, and I thought that that was just how they were in eternity mode and I got disheartened. Now I know so I can fight them in a fair fight, thanks!

Also if you ever do this again in master mode (Its even harder than expert eternity mode.) Don't fight queen bee anywhere but underground jungle, it will promptly kill you with more than just quicker attacks.
Yeah it’s piercing weapons that do less damage, right? I believe Fargo’s removes the queen bee enraging in either the surface or outside the jungle, I can’t remember which

If you were trying to fight her on the surface then I can't blame you for being disheartened, that'd be difficult with even hardmode gear

Hey so just a tidbit of information i found out when i first fought EoW in Eternity, it actually takes reduced damage from almost all sources.
Also if you ever do this again in master mode (Its even harder than expert eternity mode.) Don't fight queen bee anywhere but underground jungle, it will promptly kill you with more than just quicker attacks.

God, I hated the Eternity mode Brain of Cthulhu in 1.3, the confusion it's so annoying.
What was it like in 1.3?
