- In this video we bring our Falcon home that we've owned for 12 years home from our acreage in Braidwood.
The car has not run for the last 8 years and has been stored in a carport on the property.
We managed to do a bit of service on it but still couldn't kick it over until after we brought it home and replaced the coil pack.
Cheers and enjoy!
Awesome to see these Beautys up and Running. Got to Love the Falcon
Thank you! We love our Falcons.
Hope you enjoyed 👍
Falcons last forever with just basic care and attention, I've had 3 starting with an AU and now a FGX, all one ton utes, all still running as good as new, all never any major issues.
Very Professional and job well done awesome car you have both saved.
Thanks for tuning in. It was great fun giving the old girl a good clean.
In the garage now til the end of the year and we'll put historic rego on it.
Cheers
I owned a '94 ED exactly like this, was one of the best cars I have ever had. Big comfortable, powerful, quiet, simple to work on. Great find and nice work guys.
How good are these cars!!
Appreciate your comment 👍
Legendary car guys. Love it
We love that you enjoyed it!!
Such a legend! 👍💯
Shows ya they built to last unlike electric cars
Woooow first start in eight years. These old Falcons are amazing. Well done, you guys. :D I have a 98 Falcon (EL) that I want to keep foreverrrr. The body will go before the mechanics do.
Another happy Falcon owner, great to hear! 👍
Thanks for your comment, we love hearing them.
Such a great video, that colour came up brilliantly, a car worth keeping!
These Falcons never die. Such a great motor those ED's, my first car was an ED that someone ran into parked on the street. Still miss it.
Thanks for your great comment Callum. Our son owned a BA that was wiped out by a truck while parked on the side of a road, so I totally understand your disappointment.
Cheers
Mick and Ange
I'd love to see an update on how the ED Falcon is going please!
Some major manufacturers have brought back inline 6's lately, Mazda, Merc, that I can think of, best for Touque and smoothness.
Nice one. I see you have an AU aswell. I just bought a one owner series 1 AU as a project. I love it.
Good luck with your new AU project.
Thanks for commenting 👍
I daily a na Fairlane with the 3.9l and she hasn’t skipped a beat once such a good smooth car
Awesome video guys. Love what you’ve done to bring that classic back to life
Really appreciate your comment Matt.
Cheers 👍
That looks like a brand new car under all that dirt
And such a nice colour 👍👍
A surprising result.
Thanks for your comment 👍
Very nice example. Paint came up stunning with the polish. Manual must be a rare version. Nicely optioned in the Classic limited edition: alloys, full 6 gauge instrument cluster.
Glad you enjoyed it.

FANTASTIC..... I have a FG XR6 with the Barra but I also have an AU 2 2001 Futura Classic with the Intech SOHC ...It is a work of art engine that is quite literally bullet proof .. I never get sick of driving the AU ..Had her 19 years so far , driven every day and just never fails .. Toyota reliability Pffft ... Ford 4.0 reliability to another level.. Congratulations on this gorgeous car ..It's stunning ..
Thanks for your excellent comment!
The ED came up better than we expected TBH.
We also own an AU 2001 (Forte). It still looks and smells brand new, we purchased it 20 years ago. Agree with your comments on Toyotas, we are currently touring around Australia with our Ranger and we're really happy with it's reliability!
We have a next gen Ranger on order and I'm sure we'll be just as happy with it as well.
We have another video on our channel called 'selling our acreage the end of an era' if you watch it there is more footage of the ED while it was still in the shed.
Cheers

Good ploughing of the paddock there 😂😂
I love everything about this video. 👍🏼 well done
Thanks Andrew for your positive comment 👍
great stuff! my eb came out of a paddock. it only sat for 5 years, but was parked due to a dud fuel pump. replaced that and it ran on the fuel from when it was parked. basically varnish but it started/kinda idled. now its got a freshed up motor with a big turbo + a mint t5
Such a great story Ethan. Happy to hear you got your EB running again. These old Falcons deserve lots of TLC! 👍
@@escapetoeverywhereaustralia really quite under appreciated cars, I'm just glad to see more and more being brought back from the grave. Mine needs a lot of body work (the usual rust as it was not under cover for them 5 years) but I love these older Falcons. My old Ed is my profile photo I did the 2 tone myself in my shed 👍🏻👍🏻
Mate this gorgeous, congratulations!
Glad you enjoyed. 👍
Nice one ☝️
She’s a beaut 👏🏻🇦🇺👌
Luv the video and the huntsman was a bonus 😱
We were really happy with the way it cleaned up!
Thanks for your comment 👍
Polynesian Green i believe, had one in the day had snowflakes though. Did i spot a manual in it. Lovely rig, you guys did a superb job.
Hey Adam
Yes it's a five speed manual.
We're really happy with the outcome.
Appreciate your comment 👍
the quality of this video is sick ive got a 94 ed 5 speed in cardinal red
Glad you enjoyed it. They are a big comfy car to drive aren't they.
@@escapetoeverywhereaustralia definitely
great engines these intech
This particular engine isn't an intech. The intech version of the 4l was introduced in the AU series in 1998.
Awesome mate, I just picked one up from a mates property near bungendore. Snake skin in the back floor finally found it dead under driver seat, same colour everything the same as yours, got it running now still needs alot of work
Mate that's awesome. Is it a manual? The snake is a bit more scary than the spiders we had. Enjoy your new car 👍
Na she's auto, not preferred but still a cool find, these things are getting harder to find
Sexy ride guys awsome work
Nice work guys! She's like mine ( on my channel ) Subbed love the other vids to
Thanks for watching 👍
F$ck yes awsome that people are starting to see e series as a worth while purchase good score even the ef head on it so itll go like a cat with a foot in the arse very good score👌i own a cobalt ed xr6 rebuilt motor top and bottom end done sills fully rebushed 30mm front sway bar etc is driven the way ford intended the early e series is my favourite model falcon done the old school tin but im stuck on the e series hopefully the old girl treats ya well🤟🏻😎
Great work would have thought it was a different car from the one you first got. Had to mute it as that music killed me and i hope you binned those rear speakers.
What's the story with this car? Was it just left in the field? Hard to believe, no scrapes or dents, paint and trim not decayed , not even any gutter rashon alloys.
Hi, this car was our sons initially. We acquired it from him and I used it to travel to and from work. Then I purchased a smaller car for work and we retired the ED to our acreage and kept it under a double carport where it sat for years.
We sold our acreage in 2022 and decided to bring the car home as the acreage was only a weekender.
If you'd like to see the car moved from the carport watch our video ' selling our acreage the end of an era.
Thanks for commenting, hope you enjoyed! 👍
did u drain the tank and out fresh fuel in or what?
We absolutely did! We show this on another one of our videos titled 'selling our acreage - the end of an era'
Cheers and thanks for your comment.
Can you name the music you used please
Hi
The first song is 'secure the beat' by Reversus.
This clean-up of an excellent car that never should have never been been let decay shows the chronic wasteful throwaway society we have become, Australian made cars are irreplaceable and now go up in value annually, history before your eyes before everything becomes Chinese.
Hi Bruce
We're very happy with the way the old girls came up!
Thanks for your comment 👍
Why was the car left out in the paddock?🤔
The car was in a carport that was enclosed on 3 sides.
Watch the previous video, selling our acreage 😬👍 it shows where the car was kept
ᴘʀᴏᴍᴏsᴍ 💥
Strange no paint fade
Not so strange as the car was kept in a carport
