Sad to see so many Properties rotting away - Says a lot about us as a collective Nation.

Hey Mick and Ange nice drone shots of the old place, that old radio looked like a Phillips portable. And yes the old Fridge was kerosene the tank was sitting on top of it maybe a Kelvinator. Seen a few off the old world stoves about too. This was a cool old home mate it actually looks like Victorian style of home. I can just imagine Mar and Par sitting in the arm chairs Par smoking his pipe and Mar crocheting. This was another awesome one mate cheers for sharing.
Thanks for the info Werner! How lucky are you South Australians! We love this state. Not a whole lot of places like this in NSW. Keep up the great work mate. Cheers Mick and Ange 👍
Second house looks like they left in a hurry left everything.
@@privateAcc0unt it does look that way! Thanks for watching 👍
It looks like the frig logo was Frigidaire. That was an old brand of fridges

Looks like a conversion to a Sheep Motel! Quite a Handsome structure. Hope the 2nd Property gains a new Owner as some life left in that Homestead!
Definitely a sheep motel 🤣 Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching 👍
I recon it's out the back of Quorn.. heading north.???
Love the video ... thanks. I was particularly taken with the roadside stop. Do you have any more details as to what it was called, or where it is?
Do you mention Google Pinpoints of the ruins you visit, incase someone wants to buy you could help them
I think it's pretty obvious who nailed him . Coppers are weak as shit . 😮
Would Abe been an upmarket house in its time, I wonder what happened that is was just deserted
Thanks for watching Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Definitely not a ghost 👻 town.
Shame about the 50's kitchen, would love to see the original. Was this near a township or maybe it was a station ?
Sad what the mining companies have done to this historic town and surroundings 😢
Not sure how much longer the town can survive 😔 Thanks for commenting.
Legendary video as always. I wonder i can find some history ninths hotel to see what it used to look like in its glory days. Thanks again for another great video.
Thanks for watching Sam. Hope you're both well 👍
Another Legendary video. It’s great to see Ange take the lead and commentate . Hope you both played the 18 holes as I’m curious how lot it would take to play all 18 holes 😂 great to see another amazing video. Love the drone shots, they just keep getting better and better.
Cheers mate. Glad you enjoyed it 😃
What a cool explore Mick and Ange alot of those rooms would of probably been rooms for passers by or servants quatters. It looks darn sad now would of loved to see what this old girl would of looked like in her prime cheers another great video.
Thanks Werner! Yeah you're probably right there. I would imagine it would've been quite Opulent in its prime. Cheers and Thanks for your support mate 👍
Quite often in remote mining areas the smaller rooms were for the working ladies that serviced the miners. Not all of course but that was a fact of life... Cheers for the video.
Hi there Thanks for your input. Never thought that those smaller rooms could of possibly housed working ladies! Cheers and Thanks for watching 👍
No dramas, that was part of life ba ck then. I’m passionate about Australia and its history. The unsavoury part is usually the most interesting. Not for those reasons but it usually leads to very interesting stories that are connected. I cannot travel as might as I’d wish but I’m truly indebted to you wonderful folks that bring us this content. Aussie Legends. Take Care.
Great video guys.
Cheers Mike 👍
There was still the odd tile on one wall around a couple fire places when I visited almost two yrs ago. It a shame they are now all gone.
Can you remember what colour they were Mike?
@@escapetoeverywhereaustralia Hmmm - pink and blue comes to mind but I think I may have recoreded them. Ill check. I do remember Joe (my friend) saying they must have been beautiful
Hello from Melbourne Australia. Just came across your channel and had to subscribe. Thanks for an awesome video. That hotel would have been beautiful!!
Awesome! Thank you!
Great video, did you go see the other building's?
Hi Kelly The only other building standing was the Church. We didn't want to film too much of it as it had some offensive graffiti 😔 Thanks for tuning in 👍
Awesome history lesson and great footage 👍🙏
Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Thanks so much!! So happy you enjoyed it 👍
Great Drone footage - capturing the Upstairs Fireplace intact was a gem. Thanks for sharing your trip.
Hooks on pool would have been for a cover to slow evaporation.
Just mowin' the lawn! Hahhah! Luv it. Must've been for the little lawn patch around the pool/BBQ area. Possibly a prized Desert Lawn Garden..? Haha!
Happy you enjoyed it Ross 😃👍
I'd move in tomorrow ❤
@@Jo-E3W-PPL it's a fabulous house. Thanks for your comment. Glad you enjoyed it!
Was that a funnel web running away at 6’ mark 😮
I'm not actually sure. It looks too small, but I could be wrong 😂
😊😊😊
What australian state is this in ?
@@jorgfregin182 South Australia
Maybe the rings are for a cover to help prevent evaporation.
I wish they would include the history of the homes instead of just looking through them
It's because if you give to many details people will find out the location 👍
What an awesome gem it would have once been, im from South Australia & would love to see it for myself..thanks for sharing💯
Thanks for watching! ❤️
Heartbreaking someone's hopes and dreams..... Anyway about the pool, those rings around the edges were for the pool cover, help keep leave, dust and probably kangaroos and other thirsty wild life. We had a the same sort of thing. Has to be reasonably strong to keep big Roo's or even Razer Back Bores😂
Hi, great looking set up. I am looking at a very similar set up on my Ranger, was wondering if you have had the vehicle weighed and how it went with Axel weights
Hi We had a GVM upgrade done to the Ranger pre registration. We haven't had it weighed. Thanks for your comment 👍
What about squatter rights. Come someone just move in? Great place.
Thanks for commenting. It's an amazing house 🤩
All the lino you are walking on has asbestos in them
Unfortunately, correct. Thanks for your comment 👍
Such epic scenery. #nullabornymph
😂
My husband and I are farmers in South Australia. There are so many abandoned farm homesteads in SA because as the older farmers either retire or pass away, many of the younger generations either sell the farms or lease them to other farmers. The farming in SA can be tough, being the driest state in Australia, and many of the young ones have seen their parents working extremely hard for sometimes very little gain and want no part of it. Constant government interference in our farming businesses is putting people off of farming too! There are much easier ways to make a living. The mid north in SA has hundreds of deserted farmhouses. Love your videos!
Hi Thank you for taking the time to write this awesome and informative comment 👍 We're so happy you enjoyed it! Cheers Mick and Ange
Who built all this? What happened to this Australian family? In their day they must have been quite successful. Who were they????
Sadly, I don't have any information on the home.
If you give away details people might locate the house maybe not for the best 😊
Some beautiful landscapes there and I see you have your channel name on yah rig awesome 😊
Thanks Werner. It certainly is a big Beautiful Country! Cheers mate 👍
